Apart once again 😞

My husband and I did 4 years of long distance. It sucked ass ngl.

3 years ago I moved to live together and while not everything is perfect (I can't keep a job in this new country) life is so much nicer.

I finally got my permanent residence so my parents offered me a trip to my homecountry for a month to see the family. I accepted immediately (knowing my husband could probably not come since work)

Now all the long distance taruma?/heartache is coming back .... in trying to think a month is not a long time ... but it just resurfaced such a hard time in my life

I made a post yesterday asking about materials, this is my first card :)

I ended up getting cheap cheap 36 cad acrylic markers GUYS THEY WORK SO GOOD

My friends are even saying they would pay money 😳

What can I improve?

I didn’t use references

I dont want it to be realistic im just going for a very color blocky style with fun texture ... a style inspo for me is Lisa Nooin, but obvs not that similar

I would like a general critique because I want to know what flaws people see in my work that I might be missing

Although it would be nice to specifically know maybe technique improvement tips, I use oil pastels

Best cheap recommendations for card alering?

I need recommendations since I see golden acrylic seem the most recommended but are insanely expensive.

Maybe cheaper posca marker alternatives would work?

I am a total beginner is this right?

I tried the classic jumping with two feet and alternate jumping and i cant do it but this (the video) seems to be a lot easier? Is it a valid technique for exercise?
