What a great cultivar! Super snappy and a VERY vigorous grower. Colors up great as well.

So here’s a few of my cephs… I have more than this but this tray is doing especially well… what are your tricks to growing giants cephs? Happy to share what I’m doing, no gatekeeping on my end. I know, kind of a weird goal but I wanna see if I can do it.

I would never spend that on a plant… but someone did… wow.

I do anyways after the trays dry out. 😏 I also fertilize the soil. I also don’t put them through dormancy.

Bad drug habit as well… leaves cigarette butts everywhere.

Brewers Giant (L) and Czech Giant (R). Both the same age, same growing conditions, feeding, light etc… A lot of people say Cephalotus all look the same but you really see the differences when you grow a lot of them, especially with how large they get, clumpiness, color, vigor and trap shape. The Brewers makes giant traps but puts less out. The Czech makes A LOT of traps and they seem to stretch a lot from the basal node before sizing up. Color differences as well and anthocyanin production are very different. I just love these plants. They’re so… weird. Rear center of the photo is a UC Davis.

This particular AR Werewolf is super vigorous. Looks like a vagina. Love it.

All my Cephalotus are really liking my alternating fertilizer regimen. Tons of new growth on my others as well. Fertilize your carnivores!

I love how they look when they first open… that green is electric! 3 more pitcher on this plant on their way as well!

Some spots dried out but there’s green growth underneath. Can I snip the dry or bleached ends off?
