Hey y'all, I am thinking of replacing my euroweaves since I do not have the center caps, them joints are hella expensive, with CSL replicas and I was wondering what are the best sizes to get. My buddy was saying I should go with something like:
17x8 ET25 Fronts
17x8.5 ET25 Rears
He has something similar, I think wider and maybe a lower ET, not sure but he has his car lowered with these coilovers. I think can tell I am not very familiar with wheel and rim sizes haha
So what are the limits of what you can get and what are common sizes so I am not hunting for tires when I get my new wheels. I do plan to lower my car with Koni and H&R next year. Thanks!
I asked last year for some advice on how to tackle a paint job and finally got it done! I went to two local paint shop and my god the amount of knowledge by some of these gentlemen is insane. We def had some hiccups and some clear coat runs but with a cut and buff, it should be alright! Now would I do this again? Let me have a year or two to forget how much work this was hahahaha
Hey y'all, anyone have any cool or nice dash caps that are made from carpet? Or maybe another material? I want something to cover the dash that will look nice
Looking for suggestions as I do not like how the plastic dash caps look, even if they are glued down pretty well. Pic for attention, I just finished repainting her :)
Hey yall, I just finished respraying my car and the bumper sits crooked. I realized that one of these little cylinders where the bolts go through is shorter than the other and I keep seeing online pictures of the shock and mine is shorter. Is this normal or did someone cut this one up?
I wanted to add these triangle safety nets to my sim but they are expansive and they’ll never get properly used. So I ordered 1 inch straps on amazon, actually the same material and strength (I doubt that but description said it) of the real ones for 9 dollars, and a set of buckles for 6 dollars. Used a leather needle and sowed it together :)
I think they came out pretty decent for 15 dollars! And I have enough left over for probably 2 more sets haha Let me know what you think!
Hey y'all! I am tackling a full body respray on my old BMW but I have some small rust repairs im going to have to take care of, mostly thin metal on the cars A-pillar. I believe its only the topsheet and its super small rust spots, only one that is around a nickel size hole. I would love to eventually be able to weld even more things, like the batter box in the back and just small things in general.
Any recs on what machine to get? I think I want to get a MIG machine. Here is what I found:
I have a 50$ dollar gift card for eastwood so this one is 50 bucks cheaper, etc. Seems like a good option.
https://www.eastwood.com/rockwood-160-amp-mig-welder.html
Just cheapest harbor freight option, would be nice to not spend a lot.

Some Amazon option I found. At this price point it might be better to jump to the eastwood.
Thanks! :) Also lmk if this is not the place to post.
Got her new wheels recently so I decided to get her summer ready :) New wheels, new to me M Sport floor mats and 3 hour detail
Hey y'all! I just scored some ta5r wheels for my wagon and they have TPMS, were previously installed on a 340i. I would prefer not to have a tire pressure warning on my dash and thought I might have to take them to a shop to have them calibrated, etc.
But I read on a post that someone was able to just put them on, drive around and hit calibrate on their service screen and it connected with their second set of wheels and it was all fine? Is that true? Anyone had any experience on with this? Thanks!
Hello! My gf wants a corded vacuum for her birthday so I am looking for recommendations. She has the Shark Detect™ Corded Stick Vacuum in mind but I wanted to make sure she gets a good one and she is open to any other one. I saw that everyone says bagged is superior but she really does not want one. Budget is up to 350 or so, thanks! 😄
Forgot to add, mostly wooden floors with carpets in the middle, no floors that are actually carpeted haha
Hey y'all! Just finished doing this fun little project for the rear seats, I had this idea of grabbing regular coupe seats and converting them to the M3 style bucket seats with some foam and leather from Lseat. I think they turned out ok, definitely had a lot of problems and errors, had to redo some bolsters twice to make it better.
To preface, I have a friend with a M3 who let me take measurements of his rear seats so I have every single measurement for the seat so I used that as a guideline. Saying that, the leather was not really perfect against those measurements either, I had a lot of times where the leather was either shorter or longer therefore having to redo some of the foam, etc.
I think there are places where the leather looks great! But other places the leather does not wanna get pulled and look smooth. I think there are different M3 and non-M3 sections where you can clamp the leather down but I think with some sun itll get better. They are also SUPER comfortable haha Makes sense when there is a ton of new foam
Let me know what you think! The seats do look better in good lighting too haha Last pic is the door car leather I did to replace my current cardinal red door cards.
