I got Boost a couple months ago and since then I haven't been able to have a decent phone call. Most of the time, the call is so choppy that it might as well be morse code. When it's not that, than it's muffled to the point where its.impossiblemto understand what anyone is saying.

I did the mistake of calling customer support on hold and after half an hour of being on hold and trying to decipher what the person was saying I gave up and hung up. At this point I am thinking of going back to the carrier I had before. They may not have been great but at least I could make a call and understand why the person on the other end was saying.

There is this real famous old skit by Spike Lee called Beetlebomb which is a silly horse race narration, full of pins and double meanings. I remember watching a cartoon of it back when I was a kid and quite frankly had forgotten about it until I had kids, and bought one of those kid compilation CDs that had all these songs that fell into the public domain, and it had that song.

Since then I have tried to find that cartoon, but have been unsuccessful. I imagine that like the song it's probably in the public domain as well, since it was also pretty old. I wonder if anyone would know where I could find it. Failing that,does anyone else remember watching this cartoon. At this point I'm starting to wonder if it really exists or if it's a false memory.

Not talking about movies and shows dubbed to Brazilian Portuguese, but actual show from Brazil including novelas and such, that would work well in the USA. I've been living in the US for a while and miss Brazilian shows and also think it would be a wonderful tool to teach my kids to not sound like gringas :)

It's amazing. On top of all the advertising disguised as news on Google discovery the meager news items we get are all videos. I find this particularly annoying because first off they will usually make you sit through an ad or two just to get to the news.secondly I'd rather read, not have someone tell me the news. I can understand a voice clip or so, but every relevant news item?

To make matters worse, there is no way to filter out videos either.
