Yeast infections causing MC?

Hey ladies,

This is a long shot but checking anyway. I’ve had 3 MCs in 9 months. First one natural conception, starting low beta at 31. Loss at 7 weeks exactly. My OBGYN found bacterial vaginosis at the first pregnancy visit but didn’t prescribe anything.

Then a IUI chemical in January, starting beta 11, loss super early at like 3 weeks 3 days.

Then now I’m currently miscarrying my only euploid, at about 6 weeks exactly. I went back to my OBGYN and asked him to check for something vaginally just for me to try to rule out everything I can.

Lo and behold now he prescribed my tablets to treat yeast infection.

I know it’s a huge long shot and maybe can’t happen.. but if I’ve had untreated yeast infection and/or BV for almost a year, could that cause MCs?

Both my IVF doctor and my OBgyn says it’s extremely rare for those types of things to travel upward into the uterine area (my OBGYN said it’s more likely with STDs but I’m completely in the clear there).

Any thoughts or opinions? I’m about to go right into my next FET (5AA LLM) and my doctor has agreed to put me on baby aspirin for this one.

I know everyone’s gonna say endo and I understand - but currently just asking about potential of effect for BV/yeast infections on early pregnancy.

Ex is in the CPS system 6 times with 3 different kids, all ruled out

Trying to see if it’s worth even bringing up at a modification hearing.

CPS has gotten involved every year since 2020. All his cases have been ruled out, even the ones where he admitted to physicality, and there were independent witnesses to the assaults and video recordings. He has been told to not strike his kids but as far as I can tell no safety plan implemented.

Now same thing again - CPS ruled out but also wrote a moderate risk for future abuse and neglect (they put moderate for both individually, I believe the risk level was set at 3 whatever that means).

Will a judge care about this type of history even when it’s never been substantiated via CPS?

Worth noting is he’s been convicted of assault since the final order, but that was against a partner, not a child (although the child was present during the assault)

Clinic says it’s more likely to be an embryo issue than a uterine issue even with an euploid

Just wondering if that’s a fair statement (I like my clinic). I just miscarried my first FET with a day 6 5AA euploid. I have no symptoms of endo etc. After asking my doctor twice over the course of a few months she still believes it may have just been the embryo that caused the low non doubling betas and let’s just try again.

Is that a fair statement even with an euploid?

Do you stop focusing on contempt when violence comes into the picture?

I have an attorney but curious about others experiences.

We first filed for enforcement over six separate violations. All violations are proven through OFW communications and public records. Violations include moving twice without informing me, or the court, and refusing to give address when asked. Also refusal to pay 50% of medical expenses, speaking ill of me in front of child and teacher, and complete non-communication in terms of medical care/illnesses.

I had enough after 2 years and filed. Coincidentally immediately after being served ex had visitation with our son. Son came home from that weekend and said he’d been hit in the head for not listening (son is 4 years old). Kid did a 180 after this - complete hysterics when doing exchanges, hyperventilating and screaming he’s scared and doesn’t want to go.

Ex was not forthcoming when I asked him what happened, kind of skirted around what happened. Didn’t deny, but also didn’t admit. I decided to try play therapy to give him a place to process.

Well that made it even messier. Therapist told me after 1st session she’s calling CPS. They got involved quickly and interviewed kid at preschool, where he told the case worker the same thing he told the therapist (I was hit in the head, it was on purpose, it hurt).

After speaking to my attorney and considering dads history (dad assaulted me in front of our son 3 years ago, was convicted criminally 18 months ago for that event), we now filed for modification just 1 month after filing for the enforcement. We are asking for supervised visitation as a stricter version of what we already do (supervised exchanges).

And lo and behold - the second he was served with the modification he stopped paying child support. No clue how he managed that because it’s pulled from his check, but regardless it completely stopped. Not a cent received in 2 months.

Going into temp orders hearing soon. I’ve been in front of this judge before and she’s sharp but has zero patience. Has anybody been in a case that’s messy like this? Do we now ignore the violations and the no child support, and only focus on the CPS and therapist notes?

If relevant - he is about 4k in arrears which I know isn’t a lot. The criminal conviction happened after our final order so judge is not aware of that yet. And lastly - my biggest problem prior to our kiddo having these breakdowns was the complete lack of medical communication (he doesn’t communicate about medication given, frequently dismissed pediatric advice and prescriptions, and takes on average 15 days to respond to a child focused message in OFW).

Does very swollen lower belly indicate uterine issue?

Did anybody else experience uterus swelling?

I wonder if uterus swelling once you’re very early in a successful transfer is normal?

Before when I’ve gone through implantation I can immediately tell (talking about just a few days after FET/natural conception) because I get very swollen lower belly. This happens without progesterone as well.

I suck in my stomach and can clearly tell the lower area is swollen and round. It looks like flat all the way down to my belly button then like a “hill”. This is the way I know something has implanted 7+ days before I get a positive.

I don’t look like this with failed transfers.

I’m curious if that sounds like it can indicate inflammation or something negative happening internally?

I’ve had 3 miscarriages now so when I say success I mean successful implantation. Then a fail before 8 weeks every time.

TW: non-viable pregnancy, struggling with clinics decision

Looking for anybody who’s gone through something similar.

Currently going through my third loss in 9 months. Same as the two other times, my betas start low and never double appropriately.

First beta: 43
Second beta: 52
Third beta: 89
Fourth beta: 122 (this was also 72 hours not 48 like the others).

My clinic wants now to wait a FULL WEEK to do a scan to see what I measure. And then stated “if we don’t see a heartbeat we wait another week and do another scan”.

I can feel myself falling into depression. I can handle a loss. I cannot handle walking around pregnant with a non viable pregnancy. They also told me to keep taking my PIO shots.

Should I push back? Maybe I’m uneducated but if it was up to me I’d want pills now and get this pregnancy out of me so I can try again. Important to note is that I’m in Texas and I’m worried they’re waiting on a HR to then what? Never help me get rid of it and I could have to wait additional weeks for it to resolve?

Can I stop the shots against their recommendation and hope I miscarry on my own? I’m 5 weeks 2 days today so it’s not looking like this will be a chemical.

TW: LC.

Hey ladies. I was one of the naive ones who thought I’d never have issues having a second baby. I’ve never had any issues getting pregnant. Conceived my LC without trying at 33, had him at 34. Uneventful pregnancy, vaginal birth. Then unfortunately waited too long for my second. Started trying at 38. Conceived again the first month trying naturally.

Starting beta 31. MC at 7 weeks 3 days.

Conceived again through IUI in January. Starting beta 11. Chemical loss before 5 weeks.

Now did my first FET 4/24. Pregnant - again. Starting beta 43 and I just knew. Second beta 52. Just waiting on chemical/MC (no positive stories please, my tests today are lighter so I know what’s happening).

I do not implant late either. Every time I have positive tests starting at around 10DPO/5 days past transfer. But I clearly have a very slow rising HCG issue. Lining is always great and always triliminar. I had a hysteroscopy (clean) and a HSG - she said she couldn’t get fluid through my right tube because the left “took over” but she couldn’t say for certain the right was blocked.

Does anybody else have this problem? Any method of getting pregnant, I’m successfully fulfilling implantation. And then it crashes and burns early. The natural conception could’ve been an aneuploid. The IUI as well. This was however obviously a tested embryo.

All my regular IVF checkup came back clean. No sperm issues. So the only thing left is something with the uterus/environment right?

What do you guys suggest I do next? Lap or suppression? My Dr was unfortunately extremely confident with me going into my first FET, she really thought it would work.. now I feel like I have to push for additional testing. I only have one LLM left.

Low first beta at 43. Should get the call for second beta today. Everybody I see on here has a dye stealer by 12 DPT (which is 17 DPO in natural conception timing).

u/Ok-Set-5730 — 15 days ago

Waiting on second beta. First one was low at 10DPT (43). At home t_ests have continued to get darker which I KNOW doesn’t mean anything at this point… but it’s all I have. Definitely no dye stealer yet.

This is my only euploid (5AA) I’m 39, and I’ve had two miscarriages in the last 7 months. Waiting for that call is brutal….

Update: another MC. Levels only rose 20% in 48 hours. They’re keeping me on the meds and doing another blood draw for no reason at all..

Transferred a 5AA 6 day euploid embryo 4/24. Just got my first beta back at 10 DPT. Only 43 🥺 I was so hoping for closer to 100 at least.

I had a miscarriage last year and my first beta for that one was 31. That baby made it to seven weeks. But that was untested.

I’m so distraught. This is my only euploid. It feels impossible because if it’s a late implantation that carries miscarriage risk. And if it’s not late implantation, then that shows HCG is rising too slowly. I’m spiraling. I’ve had clearly darker tests every day since six days past transfer.

Last child support I received was mid March for $10. He is supposed to pay $700/month. I messaged and asked him about it and he said he’s had surgery on his leg that has rendered him unable to work (at exchanges he does move around but on crutches, he has a stationary job eg sits in a chair).

He basically told me child support will “kick back in” in May. So far no other support has been paid. He also blamed FMLA and said it took him 34 days to have that kick in (which confused me because isn’t that unpaid regardless? Not sure how that matters).

He was already in arrears which now quickly went up to 4k.

What are my options here? When I asked him if he could send me money directly through appropriate channels (where he would still get credit for it being child support) he just simply told me no. Does a judge go easy on a parent when they’ve been injured?

IVF pregnancy so tests say 8 DPT and 10 DPT which equates to 13 days past ovulation and 15 days past ovulation.

Had a chemical in January that NEVER hit even as pink or dark as the top test, so I’m soooo happy right now. The bottom test is taken 48 hours after the first, both FMU. Yay!!!

u/Ok-Set-5730 — 18 days ago

IVF pregnancy.. 9 days past transfer would make it about 14DPO. You can tell me the truth, I had a chemical in January so that’s what I’m scared of. Seems light for this far along,

Digital is showing positive, but it did in January as well when my beta was only 11 HCG 😭

u/Ok-Set-5730 — 19 days ago

It’s ok be honest.. I’ve had a chemical already, don’t think I ever got to lines this pink but this still seems so faint for what would be 14-15DPO.

4/24 transfer with a 6 day embryo. Lines are not getting lighter but they don’t seem to darken either 🥺 if it matters - got my first super squinter 4DPT, then clearly darker 5DPT. So I know it’s not the trigger.

u/Ok-Set-5730 — 19 days ago

7DPT modified natural transfer. IVF pregnancy.

Having a very strange experience with the results. My easy at home is not showing progression like this CVS brand one.

I’m getting a positive on the clear blue digital, and a negative on FRER 😑 somebody said that it might be the biotin in my prenatals. Just sharing that in case somebody else has had a weird experience.

I know these lines are pretty light, but I’m just praying and hoping they keep getting darker.

I think 7DPT equates to 12DPO but don’t quote me on that!

So grateful for IVF and a great clinic. After two miscarriages in a row maybe maybe I’m finally getting my rainbow baby 🌈

u/Ok-Set-5730 — 20 days ago

Im spiraling and so confused. Im seeing faint but clear positives on test strips. But the FRER is basically negative and even lighter than it was back in January when I had a chemical. This hasn’t happened to me before. Any clue what might be going on? Sharing pics to show. I’m just over 6DPT today, almost 7DPT.

u/Ok-Set-5730 — 21 days ago

Miscarriage at 7 weeks in September from natural conception. No implantation at all with home tries October and November. Chemical from IUI in January. Did my first ER in March and transferred my only euploid from that round April 24th.

Was worried that the 4DPT super squinter was left over trigger, but I see a darkening on 5DPT 😭

Praying this is my shot at the rainbow ❤️ hatching 5AA Day 6 embryo.. a baby girl

So J3’s paperwork states they understand people may work outside of the full time employment - they say this is fine but needs to be disclosed to management.

Is this a trap? Lol. New to the OE game, only been doing it for a little less than a year

This is probably a dumb question. But I’ve seen this conversation in here and I understand why women ask. If you transfer a six day embryo. I understand why women would assume they would get a positive on 4-5 days past transfer. Because that would make you 10 days pregnant technically right? Which is usually when you would get a positive potentially if you conceive naturally.

But what I see online is saying you shouldn’t get a definitive until like nine days after a transfer. I’m assuming they just say that to protect against false negatives? And false positives if you’ve used the trigger.

But TECHNICALLY - on 5 days past transfer… it would be 11 days pregnant. Is that Correct thinking? Or am I wrong?
