EP and LP grouping

I feel like EPs and albums should be grouped together on artists’ pages. EPs are basically mini albums, so in my mind it would make sense and would make navigating an artist’s discography a little easier.

Depending on the artist, you sometimes have to scroll through like 7 singles they released for an album, then a random EP, then a couple more standalone singles, etc. It can make the experience kind of annoying.

Is there a reason most streaming services separate EPs and albums like this instead of grouping them together chronologically?

Switching back over…maybe

I had a free trial of YouTube Premium for like 3 months last year, and I tried out YouTube Music too. There were a couple things about the app that made me go back to Apple Music, like not being able to sort playlists within the app, not being able to search within playlists, and some lagging issues when using the Music app through Apple CarPlay. I think there were a few other things too, but I can’t remember lol.

I got Premium again this year (so sick of ads 😭) and figured I’d give YouTube Music another try. I noticed that sorting and searching within playlists are things now, which were two of my biggest complaints before.

For anyone who uses YouTube Music regularly, would y’all say the overall app experience is better now? Especially on iPhone/Apple CarPlay? I’m considering switching over from Apple Music if it’s improved enough.

I’d rather become a tree than have a traditional burial. Anyone else?

I saw something the other day about companies that can mix a loved one’s cremated ashes with a special soil and plant a tree. I honestly thought it was a really beautiful idea.

It got me thinking that, instead of just having a coffin buried with a headstone, it might be nice to have a living tree that grows over the years. Whether it’s planted at a family’s home or in something like a “tree cemetery,” it feels like a more living memorial.

It also seems like it could be more environmentally sustainable in some ways and leave a positive impact rather than just occupying cemetery space. Of course, there are practical questions too like trees need long-term care, storms can damage them, diseases happen, and I imagine maintenance would be more of an arborist’s job than traditional cemetery staff.

Personally, I’d much rather become a tree after I’m gone than be buried in a coffin. What do you all think? Would you choose something like this if it were an option?

what do y’all suggest?

Looking for anime recommendations.

So far I’ve finished Hunter x Hunter, Assassination Classroom, One Punch Man, and Food Wars, and I enjoyed all of them. I still need to finish Tokyo Ghoul and Solo Leveling, and I just started JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Some shows I’ve tried but ended up losing interest in were Black Clover, Haikyu!!, and Dandadan.

Open to pretty much anything except I’d probably prefer not to start something with 1,000+ episodes right now. I feel like I’m probably forgetting a show or two, but that’s most of what I’ve watched.

Romaine, corn, kidney beans, great northern beans, chickpeas, cucumber, bell pepper, feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and some thin-sliced pork with a little of the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes, some toasted sesame oil, and cherry vinegar drizzled on top.
