If you don't login for 36 months you lose your account and purchases

EU instructed Sony to follow this 36 months rule but it doesn't change the fact that somehow pro digitals will still find a way to defend no physical media decision.. "bro just login.. who the hell goes on without logging in for years.."

There could be various reasons. Life events.. maybe you simply lost interest sold off your console but later had a change of heart and decided to come back only to start over and re-purchase stuff. This kinda shit doesn't happen with physical media.

"But why would they spend on resources to keep inactive accounts" bruh account data with purchase details can be simply stored as simple JSON file which is hardly few kilobytes. Even millions of inactive accounts data would take up like few terabytes at best. You telling a billion dollars company can't afford a few TBs? Pfft...

Just remember with digital you are always at the mercy of these corpos and are one decision away from losing your shit that you bought over the course of your lifetime.

JioFiber plan change queries

I'm currently on 699 100mbps plan. Need to try 500mbps plan.

Can I just buy the monthly 500mbps plan after the bill is generated, try the plan and downgrade back to 699 if for any reason after the bill is generated?

Is it that straightforward or there will be issues in downgrading?

Thanks

ELI5: When moving the camera in-game, why do objects appear normal when viewed head on but start to distort as you move the camera around with maximum distortion at the corners or edges of screen? Doesn't happen IRL. Why can't it be "fixed" as the brain does it for us?

V16.1 still a release candidate?

So this version 16.1 or 16.0.7 whatever you'd like to say is still being shown as a release candidate that you need to tap the three dots menu, go to beta option and then get to install it.

I'm just curious as to why it's being advertised as a stable update? Clearly if it was a stable one it'd show up on the main updater screen.

Also any idea when it could be out as a stable version

Thanks

So my realme pad 2 lite (Android 14) just won't detect my external usb HDD. The drive is ntfs formatted.

I've tried many apps from the playstore but none of them detect it.

The drive spins I can feel and hear it spinning so power is not an issue.

Also, when I connected the same HDD to my phone oneplus 15 (Android 16), it detected it just fine. I could browse and all.. I mean they almost share the same base OS only different skins and software features.

I am suspecting does it have anything to do with kernel parameters differing? As in the NTFS driver is simply not there or disabled in Realme Pad but it's not in the OnePlus phone?

I've also tried the OTG toggle under accessibility settings menu that too didn't help.

Any insights/views on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

TLDR: Upload time hidden for related videos (not the homepage ones, but the ones that appear once you click on any video) on mobile youtube site. Data is there. Please help me unhide it. On Firefox android.

For the mods: didn't post it to the megathread because uBO isn't breaking anything rather want to undo YouTube's doing.

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to force the YouTube mobile site (m.youtube.com) to show the upload date/time (e.g., "3 hours ago") for related videos which is currently hidden in the mobile layout.

You can check the attached image. Talk about enshittification of a product.

However, the desktop mode shows the upload time just fine. I tried picking that element while in desktop mode using uBO's element picker tool and tried giving that to gemini to see if it could help me. No joy.

I then inspected the mobile site to see if that data is even there or not. It's there under the label key. Please see the image.

I'm not sure how to make that appear. I suppose some filter or scriptlet should be able to resolve this. Unfortunately I'm not a frontend guy. Hence, help would be really appreciated.
