As sad I was for Laura Leighton leaving, the writers gave Sydney nothing to do on Season 4 and 5

Darren Star leaving hurt the character because the new writers didn't seen to know what to do with her.

They leaned on the comedy by trying to turn Sydney into the comic relief with the mod dresses and annoying sidekick routine,

It also always seemed like every week, we got the beginning of a Sydney arc which then got quickly dropped (drugging Jane, Bobby, Kyle, the rich guy, businesswoman era).

The fact the writers had a new hooker on the scene as a romantic interest for Michael was a slap in Sydney's face.

Pop betrayals: Divas who tried to get their band members fired in a pop girl group

Amelle and Heidi getting Keisha fired by painting her as a Bully in the last round of Sugababes. Keisha got fired but Sugababes died with her since with Jade joining the group couldn't save the band.

The T-Ara bullying scandal when band member Hwayoung accused other members of severely bullying her. It was then found out it was all a lie to become a victim for the fans.

Closet scandal. Allegedly Melody was locked inside a closet while the Pussycat Dolls were performing at the AMAS. Melody was able to free herself and arrive in time to deliver her soulful vocals with the other girls surprised.

Why Sugababes can't catch the momentum they once had

The Siobhan-Mutya-Keisha line-up was never big chart wise. They only had one hit, Overload, and they got dropped by the label!

Artistically, their music is better and more unique, but chart success only came with Heidi and Amelle.

Also, they're older and British Radio is incredibly ageist, paging Kylie Minogue, and some of them haven't aged well. Which shouldn't matter but in the pop world, how you present yourself is important.

Not having Jake and Sydney hook up on a long term basis was a HUGE mistake

Especially if they had turned it into a love triangle with Jane. Those four episodes of Sydney-Jake-Jane had so much potential.

I was sick of Sydney obsessing over Michael. It got boring. With Jake, things were spicing it up.

Plus, it made no sense for Sydney to lose interest in Jake so quickly. By season 4, she was blowing him off.

Were Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth able to make peace before Shannen's passing?

I get mixed feelings over it because on one hand, people say Shannen was okay with the entire cast but then she forbade Jennie to attend her funeral.

I'm sure if Shannen had a problem with Jennie, she would have said it. She didn't mince her words about Alyssa Milano ruining her life by getting her fired from Charmed.

In her podcast, Shannen never spoke ill of Jennie but she did imply there was jealousy when she did the solo Rolling Stone cover. She never said from whom.

Why do the UK girl group, Flo, chart so poorly?

Their biggest hit, Cardboard Box, only made it to the Top 40 UK. Most of their songs don't even chart.

Leak It and Fly Girl should have been much bigger hits.

Is this a label issue? Oddly enough, their albums do chart well. Their First LP went to number 3 in the UK.

I love their music so much and I don't understand why the public doesn't get them. They deserve to be much more successful than they are.

Emma Bunton's solo music is so much better than she's given credit for

I still think Maybe is the best song from any of the Spice Girls' solo stuff and I can still listen to Emma's music and not find it dated. What Took You So Long could be release today and still sound current.

A lot of the Spice Girls solo music hasn't aged well. Mi Chico Latino?? "shudder"

The series never seemed to know what to do with Kathleen Robertson/Claire

I think Claire was a lot of fun in the beginning when she had her own identity but when she became Steve's girlfriend, her whole arc became about her dating life with Steve. She never got her own story-lines. Even Gina had her own arc.

How was Vicky Krieps not nominated for "Phantom Thread"?

I've never seen moral ambiguity be as well portrayed in Film as I've seen in Phantom Thread with Vicki Krieps as Alma. Absolutely unpredictable. Did Meryl Streep need another nomination for another totally forgettable performance that year?

Does anyone think Janet would be as big as Valerie if introduced sooner?

Almost everyone loves Janet but because she isn't an OG and came in late, she tends to be part of the forgotten ones like Noah and Daniel Cosgrove.

How come nobody ever talks about "The Lodge" with Riley Keough playing a cult nut going crazy while isolated with her fiance's bratty kids?

This movie reminded me of a Ari Aster Horror and Riley Keough is insanely good, going from shy fiance trying to win the love of her man's kids to psycho crazy religious nut when she and the kids are left stranded in isolated lodge in the mountains. Jaeden Martel and Lia McHugh are also very good. Alicia Silverstone brilliant in her cameo.

How come none of the Spice Girls have aged badly? They still look the same

It does help they've all done well commercially so they hace money to age well but even so, they all look like they're still in their 30s.

Kelly getting mad at Val for doing Pot but she ended up being addicted to diet pills and becoming a cokehead living in a drug den with Colin

I always found it funny how Kelly had no self awareness, she'd judge Val for doing pot when she was this close to being into crack.

Kelly sniffing coke on the toilet and then getting mad at smelling pot brownies. Give me a break!

Tori was very annoying and Dylan would have cheated on her after he'd grown tired of her good girl act

I think Dylan probably decided he wanted to go straight and just go for thr white picket fence. At first glance, Tori was the perfect wife: nice, loving, sweet and devoted. But boy, was she not the brightest bulb. She was so nice that it made her painfully naive and all that "My Daddy wouldn't do this" really got on my nerves.

Dylan was not going to be faithful, Dylan liked to think he could be Prince Charming when he laid off the brooding but deep down he was a manslut, a James Dean who had a need to self destruct. He would have slept with Tori's best friend.

Which was the worst career misstep for the Spice Girls after they went solo?

Bless her heart but Emma can't act and watching her on Ab Fab was embarrassing. I do think she's perfect on the West End, she's very good at musicals.
