Sell before too late

MicroStrategy may have hit a breaking point. If they are forced to sell Bitcoin to cover operational costs, it could trigger a dangerous feedback loop: selling drives the price down, which forces further liquidations. this week, we will see 50k or 40k if momentum gather.

We could be looking at a market bloodbath today, putting a $15k price target on the table before year-end.

BLOOD BATH IS COMING, SELL or SHORT btc before its too late!

I need to stop gambling

I have a confession to make. I have been gambling for more than 30 years of my life and have had so many downfalls. I quit gambling when I was 30, bought a house a few years later, and managed to save up. I built up $550k in liquid cash and equities.

However, over the last few years, I started gambling again. It was nothing serious—just winning and losing roughly $15k a year. I never touched my $550k savings for gambling; I only ever gambled with my paycheck.

But recently, things spiraled. A few weeks ago, I bought $1k of BTC. My intention was just to make a quick $50 since BTC was low. I asked myself, "What's the harm in investing $1k? Why not? $50 is still worthwhile, and I could buy something nice with it." Before I knew it, I had deposited that $1k into a crypto poker site. I won about $500, so I had $2k in BTC at that point.

BTC kept going down over the next few weeks, so I deposited another $9k to buy the dip, bringing my total to roughly $10k in BTC. With the World Cup around the corner, I deposited it into a crypto betting site. I got lucky and turned my $10k into around $25k. However, the very next morning, I lost that entire $25k in less than an hour playing online blackjack.

My head was spinning. Even though I had only lost about $10k of my own money (and still hadn't touched my $550k assets), the more I thought about the $25k I had lost that morning, the more obsessed I became. I liquidated $120k of my assets in one go and used it to short the Dow Jones index (about $40 a pip). But the Dow just kept going up and up that week due to the AI rush. Before I knew it, the stress was overwhelming, and I lost $50k (around 1200 pips).

I was now sitting on a $60k loss. For the first time, I had withdrawn from my main investment pot, leaving me with around $450k. That was a massive cut, and I couldn't believe what I had done to myself. I told myself, "I have $450k in investments left and $60k in cash (the remainder from my trading account after the Dow short). I can't forget about this $60k loss, and since I have the cash, I have to win it back."

I contacted a luxury land-based casino and asked if I could deposit $60k to play there. I didn't trust crypto casinos at this point, thinking they were a bit dodgy, so if I was going to win my money back, I needed a physical casino. However, the casino only allowed me to wire $30k because my wealth profile wasn't high enough to justify the full $60k.

I proceeded to go to the casino as soon as I got my membership sorted. It was an hour's drive, but it is what it is. I bet $5k a hand to win back the $60k I had lost, using the $30k. It was up and down—I was up $10k at one point, so I had around $40k in casino chips.

Then I went for a smoke. I told myself I couldn't walk out with just a $10k profit when I had recently lost $60k. After my smoke break, I went back to the tables with my $40k in chips and continued betting $5k a hand on blackjack. It went up and down, and I think after about 20 hands, I lost all $40k.

Now I had lost $90k in total. I couldn't believe it. I was thinking I needed to self-exclude from the casino and stop betting forever. But on my way out, I asked the casino manager one more time if I could deposit another $30k, telling him I don't normally go to casinos and just play for fun. He called the compliance team, and eventually, they let me wire my remaining $30k.

That didn't take long; the process only took about 10 minutes to get my chips. I went back to the blackjack table with my last $30k, betting $5k a hand, but this time on 3 boxes, so $15k a hand. I got incredibly lucky. After around 10 hands, my last $30k turned into $130k. I cashed out and withdrew the money straight back to my bank.

I was happy. But because of greed, I deposited the money back into my trading account and won another $20k. So, with my original $120k, I was up $30k in profit. I then joined another crypto casino, and after 2 weeks, I won another $25k. I was sitting on $120k of my own money and about $50k in profit.

But this morning, it was bad luck after bad luck. I lost $20k and decided to call it quits. I should be grateful I was given another chance. I can't imagine what would have happened if I had lost that last $30k at the land casino. Would I have touched the rest of my $450k investments to try and win it back? Probably. And if I lost that... I'm not sure if I would have killed myself or not.

The plan now is to put the $120k back into my investments and never touch it, and put the $40k profit into a savings account earning interest. No more gambling. I hope I can stick to it. I'll keep you guys updated.
