When will I stop waking up with a racing heart?
It’s been almost 2 weeks since I was discarded. Every morning I wake up and my heart races for at least 30 minutes and I have to calm myself down. I hate this so much.

This is my first year living here so I’m not sure if this is the norm, it sounds like it isn’t based off what I’ve read, but can someone tell me when the humidity dies down? It’s been a rough summer
Haven’t seen many people talk about this on here but wondering what the cause of this was… oxygen masks were deployed and apparently the plane dropped 27,000 feet in 10 mins😭
Haven’t lived here very long but I’m a CA native and just wondering, with all this talk about the big one coming what is the likelihood of it triggering a Tsunami locally? I live in Oxnard shores area
I’ve never had an apartment without ac so this is a first for me. My apartment gets up to 80 degrees with the weather lately. I bought a portable ac for the living room as that’s where I spend most my time, it only brings the temp down to about 76 if I’m lucky and then the second I shut it off during the 4pm-9 pm peak hours, my apartment gets back to 79 within an hour. I have blackout curtains. This sucks soooo bad and I can’t even imagine how it would feel in here if it reached the 80’s outside (I’m very close to the water I think the high has been 75-76?)
She talks so much like her too. Anyone else think this?
I’m a beginner to weightlifting, and I’m a 140lb female. I struggle to eat enough protein, and am currently getting around 70-80 g on average. Will I make progress with this amount? Everything I’m seeing shows I need 140g a day, which just isn’t going to be possible for me to be consistent with.
Thanks in advance
SCE notified me of a scheduled power outage next week, and I work from home. It’s from 8-3 pm. Any recommendations for somewhere I can sit for a while to work?
I got a text that next Wednesday SCE will have a scheduled outage in my area from 730-330…
I’m new to weightlifting and I’m trying to create a routine that I can be consistent with. In the past, I try and go 4-5 x a week which I do successfully for about a month and a half and then I end up dropping off because i get burnt out. I’m trying to create a routine I can stick to long enough to see progress. I’ve found that I’d much rather spend longer in the gym 2x a week than have short 45 min sessions 4x a week. Is the following split effective/ comprehensive enough for a beginner? I mostly use machines as I’m very weak and want to work my way up to using more free weights. I also get 10k steps a day so I’m not completely inactive on the other days
Monday:
Hip abductions inside + outside
Single leg press
Leg curls
Hip thrusts
Weighted squats
Incline chest press
Bicep curls
Overhead press
Tricep extensions w/weight
Lat pull downs
Friday:
Hip abductions inside + outside
Leg press
Leg curls
Hip thrusts
Weighted lunges
Chest press or pectoral fly
Rear deltoid
Lateral raises
Back extension
Seated row
This is my first year here, wondering if it’s always this humid in the summer. When I first moved here in march I hardly even noticed any humidity. Just curious , I come from a very dry climate
I just moved here, is there anywhere nearby that has the reclining movie chairs?
I’m fairly new to the area (from Bakersfield) so the concept of not having an ac is foreign. When I first moved in I got 2 smaller dehumidifiers for both bedrooms and a large one for my living room that fills up 2x a day. My average humidity is around 58-65% but It still feels too high. I recently had to buy a potable ac for my bedroom because my place gets up to 78 degrees even when it’s 70 out (HORRIBLE cross breeze in basically blocked by taller buildings). For whatever reason, my portable ac is cooling my room but making the humidity rise too… woke up and it was 69%. This feels very high maintenance to try and manage and I wish I just had a mini split system or something
Preferably local. I know Cheesecake Factory has great Alfredo but looking to try something else.
This year is my first year here and I’m wondering what are some fun things going on next weekend? And where is the best place to watch fireworks? :)
My ratio of LDL to HDL always is around 2.7-2.9 for the last several years. I see my total cholesterol can range from 180-244 and sometimes my LDL is as high as 146. My HDL has been as low as 65 and as high as 85. I’m 28 and 140 lb female 5’9. What I’m wondering is does the ratio better estimate risk or do the values themselves matter more?
We hit turbulence right after our climb and I’m spiraling im so scared 😭😭😭 it wasn’t bad on the way here. I realized my first flight was only such a success because it was completely smooth 😭 the first hour and a half of this flight I was a complete mess and crying
Flight AA607, I’m so scared. On my flight here I didn’t get that announcement but now I’m spiraling
