Hello there, sorry if this isn't allowed on here. I am from Canada and I was doing research on my family past. My aunty told me of one of my cousins who was shot dead by the IRA. His surname was Gibney. He was a 16 year old with a learning disability and the IRA approached him during his job in a cemetery, and asked him what his father did. He blindly told them his father was a prison officer. They shot him then and there.

As far as I know he was from Belfast North West area.

The problem is my aunt has passed away and I couldn't get his first name. I tried searching online with no success. Is there any records or anything like that I could look into or if by any chance, does anyone recall this? I understand a lot of people were killed and I can't even give a year.
