Never prepay for your rental

Hello everyone
From an Enterprise/National/Alamo manager
Please never prepay for your rental vehicle. If you return early you might not be refunded from the company you prepaid from. Also if there are any issues with your rental, it can take about a month or two to receive a check refund. Its just a hassle.
I recommend to pay at the counter, it is much easier to compensate you if anything happens or any emergencies.

Jobs after enterprise

Hey all
Ive been 2 years management and about 3 years with the company. I am so over it. What jobs are there after enterprise? Ive been having a hard time landing an interview. Ive even adjusted all my resumes to the job descriptions.
Ive been filtering LinkedIn / Indeed to the recent postings to increase the likelihood of getting a job.

Thank you!

Friendly reminder to not bring valuables to the beach

Hey everyone
I work at a rental car company and this customer comes in today distraught that her Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from Sandy’s beach. She was from out of the country and was freaking out. She was also really rude to me and blamed me for her stolen bag. Her license, wallet, and rental car key was stolen.

Please let this serve as a friendly reminder to not bring valuables to the beach. Make sure someone stays and watches your belongings if possible. Stay safe.

EDIT:
This is how she blamed me. She said it was my fault that the bag wasn’t more secure and since it is my country, it is my fault lol. Seriously don’t get the logic here.

Working at Sephora as an Assistant Manager

Hi everyone!
What is it like working at Sephora as an assistant manager? I applied to a position the other day.
I currently have 2 years management experience and 8 years in customer service. I saw Sephora had 3.8 stars on glassdoor and 66% recommend to a friend.

Thank you!!!
EDIT: thank you everyone for your feedback. I got an email this morning and they went with someone else. Maybe I dodged a bullet 😁

56 days since I blocked my avoidant

Hey everyone. Thought I’d share an accomplishment I’m proud about. It’s been 56 days since I’ve talked to my avoidant and she has been blocked. It feels good. I still think about her here and there but I try to continue to remind myself that I need to keep going on without her because she will never give me what I deserve. I think the hardest thing is I still hold her in high hopes in my head. Its like a toxic positivity thing that I cannot get out of.

My goal is 100 days and longer than that. I think it will get easier along the way.

We have some mutual friends and sometimes when my mutual friends bring her up I just say nothing and completely change the subject. But it does kind of hurt to hear her name again. I’m trying to AVOID it lol. I am just trying to move forth in my life but she did really break my heart.

Ending the cycle

Hey everyone.
My avoidant left me in August and since then she has texted me almost every month checking up on me, saying she wanted to be friends, and even being flirty a few times. We even had sex a few months ago.

My birthday was last week and I just turned 25. I decided that I am too old to deal with these stupid games anymore and that I was going to finally block her on everything and never really mention her anymore.

The last time I talked to her was on May 1 and she messaged me and I never answered. My goal is to go 100 days- which would be August 9. But I know I can go longer. My goal is to ultimately keep her blocked and never talk to her again.

She was right all this time… i do deserve better lol

How to get this stain out

I just bought this light blue shirt and skirt set today and then I washed it once I got home. I think a color from another piece of clothing must have stained the skirt during the wash. It now looks like this. The shirt has no stains on it at all.

How can I get this stain out? The fabric is 80% nylon and 20% spandex.

Any help is appreciated!

My ex is an avoidant and we broke up 9 months ago but she says that she always wants to be friends with me. The other night I hung out with her (I regret it) and I started calling her out about how she broke my heart. And she said her heart was broken too. What I just don’t understand is if her heart wad broken then why did she leave me😭 what does this even mean?
I also think I am so over this cycle and I think I’m just not going to even be friends with her anymore. Whenever we hangout she always tries to fish for compliments from me. She will show me pictures or videos of herself and ask me if I think she’s pretty. And I just stay silent. I think she is so beautiful but I’m heartbroken why she left me. Which I hate because its like she is dangling a carrot in my face but “doesn’t want a relationship with me” we even did the deed the previous time we hung out.
Lol any advice??? What does this mean from an avoidant perspective
