Hey there fellow casual LotM readers, purifiers, corrupters and the GOOS 👀 wanted to bring this up because it's been sitting with me for a while now. This sub has gotten really strict lately and honestly it's starting to take the fun out of being here. Posts that aren't even NSFW are getting removed. Comments with just a lighthearted, slightly cheeky line (not sexual, just innuendo adjacent, the kind of stuff that's always been part of this community's humor) are getting deleted too. Even fully SFW pictures aren't safe from the queue anymore. And to be clear, nobody here is posting actual porn. We know the difference. This is memes, jokes, and banter, not explicit content, so it feels like the moderation is treating harmless fun the same as something it was never meant to catch.

I get that keeping a sub in check matters and nobody wants it turning into an unmoderated mess, but right now it feels like the pendulum swung too far the other way, and as a result things have just gotten kind of flat and boring. Half the charm of this place was that people could be a little silly and a little cheeky without every single post getting nuked on sight.

So this is a genuine ask, can we loosen the reins a bit? Not asking for anarchy, just some room for the jokes and playful stuff that isn't actually breaking any real rules. And on that note, can we please bring back the corruption tag? Corruption has always been part of this community's identity and culture, same as purifying, they're basically two sides of the same coin that's kept this place fun and balanced for a long time. Myself and the rest of the corrupters are more than happy to self-regulate: no sexting in the comments, nothing that actually crosses a line, just the usual playful push and pull energy between corrupters and purifiers that's always made this sub entertaining.

Yeah, things got a bit more heated when the specials dropped, and that's fair to own, we leaned in hard for a bit. But we're also all in for scaling it back down as more new content rolls out and the hype settles, the same way it naturally has every other time before. This isn't about wanting things to run wild forever, just about getting some breathing room back so the sub doesn't feel like it's holding its breath every time someone posts a meme.

Basically just asking for a bit more balance, enough freedom to actually have fun without it turning into a 24/7 cleanup job for you guys. Appreciate you taking the time to read this either way 🙏
