These are my favorite romcoms manga wise I’m only 50 chapters through oregairu but Hachiman and Futaro seem very similar.

Hi all I just finished FFX and it was amazing. I love that romance was a core focus and there was other forces pushing the plot forward. What I’m looking for might be niche but there any games that have a critically acclaimed story (maybe major plot twists or just solid story), great romance (characters have interesting dynamic), and a unique soundtrack? I have steam and the switch 2 so maybe games on those. What are some you could recommend? Thanks! 🙏
Hi all love the idea, dungeon diving, getting better gear and upgrading, upgrading your place or restoring town, I find sandbox progression loops to be addicting but I find farming and cleaning very boring. I tried fields of mistria which I liked more but just do not really click with farming. I honestly love being able to upgrade my base/ town/ gear as well. Is there any games like these 2 with less farming?
Just got the new Madden today as a gift and fired up the game. I am dumbfounded how terrible the offensive and defensive line is. I played as the bears and against the bears I’m shocked they put Caleb on the cover with a team like this. They definitely have to adjust the rankings because the bears offensive line won’t be this bad IRL lol

Hi all just finished this and this might be one of the greatest romance mangas of all time that has a male protagonist. Apologize in advance for the hefty paragraph I’m going to write with my analysis on this.
He’s not your normal wimpy, quick to blush/ hide feelings main character. He’s definitely in the upper echelon of romance main characters just for speaking his mind and having a distinct personality. Starting from chapter 1 you could tell who was going to win after reading it all.
Yotsuba says she would’ve never dreamed of this day and she also says it when (forgot who asks) if she would want to marry the main character. I understand everyone has their own distinct tastes and every girl is a different personality but she’s the best for Futaro if you think about it. She’s the one who accepted him right away and was always on his side. Their relationship was the healthiest among the other Quintuplets and Ichika and Nino being the most toxic. We finally got a manga where the AIRHEAD WINS?!? That never happens!!! That’s a trope breaker right there. For Itsuki, there was never romantic tension so that could’ve been ruled out. The only true close second being Miku which I felt didn’t pan out because their interests didn’t align and she couldn’t help out like yotsuba. Yotsuba was the backbone for Futaro and never gave up on him. She never pressured him into anything and even took a backseat for the other sisters to have him even though he was her first true love and who met him when they were little.
The ending where Futaro was finally able to nail which sister was which on the wedding day was amazing to see and showed he loved each and everyone one of them (though other 4 not romantically). The only thing I didn’t like was that they could’ve used some more screen time/ panels after the wedding or showed what their relationship was like after the confession but it’s okay. I initially didn’t like all 5 went on the honeymoon as well bc I wanted to see how they were like when the couple was older but it’s true how all 5 of them are basically a package deal like they said earlier on in the series. The reason I write this is because I’ve seen a substantial amount of people call this ending “trash” because their favorite girl didn’t win. I think it’s the best ending possible and good for the author for not going harem route and showing backbone for picking one.
I wish I could find another series like this where there’s clues which girl will win or maybe a well thought out romance that’s not a normal slice one life but there’s a reason why this manga is so popular because it’s 1 of 1. Some of the points I made could totally not make any sense so do let me know if I sound stupid lol. Anyway, what do you guys think about the ending? Do you think it’s well written?
Literally, the rich get richer I understand other teams could have offered but come on. They can’t keep doing this 😭 whoever plays against the dodgers know I will root against them rival or not
Hi all I really tried to get into normal slice of life manhwa/ manga but I just can’t get into it. I really like romance but I also like when there’s something else to push the narrative. My favorite romance manga/manhwas are “To Drown in You”, “Hatsukoi Zombie”, “A town where you live”, “Quintessential Quintuplets”, and the romance in “SSS class revival Hunter”. All of these have some kind of force that pushes the story forward but doesn’t forget about the romance and has an awesome balance. QQ being my most recent read and one of my favorites because it’s predetermined who wins by the wedding being the very first panels and flash forwards later on and it’s your job as the reader to pick up on context clues which was so amazing to see because you never see that in fiction let alone manga/ manhwa. To Drown in you and Hatsukoi zombie have a supernatural element that pushes the story with hatsukoi zombie being more light hearted and TDIY really hitting the hammer on depression, loneliness, and manipulation which felt super gritty and surreal to see the mc grow. All of these also have great character dynamics and they feel fleshed out and ignore alot of the normal tropes. Anyway that’s me yapping about my favorite reads hopefully if you haven’t read these you’ll give them a shot! Based on my title and description is there any reads you can recommend that fit this? Found this on pure chance when I was going through MAL desperate for a read, first 12 chapters were okay but the dynamic between the ML and FML was awesome to see progress and then after it opens up and the story starts to unfold and get dramatic instead of being a lighthearted rom-com. Later on I definitely had the Doakes face with some of these panels (author definitely has to draw H) and thought author was drawing with one hand at certain times bc the fan service is out of control (wish it wasn’t bc I really think the story is nice). Overall the story is unique, I hate when romance manga/ manhwa is just normal wholesome slice of life probably why “To drown in you”, “Quintessential Quintuplets”, “Hatsukoi Zombie”, and “SSS class revival hunter” are my favorites because there’s an element that pushes the story/ narrative not just the romance or main couple. The comedy in this is hilarious with references in almost every panel. The negatives I will say definitely have to be unnecessary goon bait, and lack of confession (on ch 50). With the lack of confession both MCs know they like each other, even author is aware of tropes but still doesn’t to squeeze more out of that part when you have angels vs demons you can use to push the narrative! Overall 8/10 rn

I’m by no means a spring chicken (24) and have seen my fair share of bears games but this year gives me so much hope and excitement for what can be. Wouldn’t it be nice to be good every year like the bills, chiefs, and 49ers? I don’t think we’ve ever had consistent relevance mostly one hit wonders such as 2018 and maybe 2019 in recent years. I’m really hoping the offense takes a step forward and Booker can implement himself as THAT guy. Are you guys thrilled for this year? If so what has you the most excited?

What makes this great? Two huge things such as amazing character dynamic, everyone has visible strengths and weaknesses and it’s almost impossible to predict which girl will win. My favorite part is that it’s a mystery romance which is so unique. The first few panels show the wedding and how Futaro picked one of the girls. The author planned which girl would win before creating this first chapter and this is awesome because it’s laid the groundwork with the hints of which girl is the clear pick. Also not relevant but the girl I wanted to win won which was the cherry on top. If you guys haven’t read this I would consider this a must read manga let alone romance because the dynamic, character development, and mystery really raise it from every other manga. (Also breaks a lot of tropes which I love) for those who have read have you found anything like it? Thanks! 🙏

Why I love this… Futaro is such a refreshing main lead, he’s not pervy, speaks his mind, and isn’t oblivious to a girl liking him. All 5 girls are written so well and have incredible things about them and flaws that make them feel human. Author clearly had the girl picked out from ch 1 bc there’s a huge hint who will win that’s not obvious until later on. I also was very happy that the girl I wanted to win was picked. I don’t think I’ll ever find anything like this where the characters have such an amazing dynamic. I hate slice of life but I was absorbed by how great this was. Apologies for bad English I stayed up to read all of this because it was that good. For those who’ve read is there anything like this such as a romance with a twist that’s well done? And what were ur thoughts?
For me personally, it has to be the Vikings. They can easily have a top 3 defense and Bryan Flores staying means they will be elite (or they can be a bottom 3 defense this is football, hard to predict stuff sometimes lol). If Kyler Murray can resemble anything of a mediocre QB/ game manager they can be a contender imo. I think Lions regress here, they lost their special BJ sauce that made the offense what it was ( I understand that they still had good numbers offensively wise last year but I think they just don’t have it anymore). Packers even WITH Micah were close. The Bears got over the hump and no longer have the yips with the packers. If the Caleb Williams and the offense can continue to improve I think Bears are repeating NFC north champs with Vikings coming in second. How do you think this year will shake out and which NFCN team do you think can be the most competitive other than the bears?
Okay so I’m not here to argue the inability to get a deal done in Illinois yet. I’m not too well versed in politics and all that shannanigans so I won’t give my opinion until I’m fully informed because I truly don’t know. BUT what I will say, sending out that dumb email during the week of the playoff game against the packers. Somehow always finding himself in the front of the locker room for post game speeches just screams attention seeker to me. I was excited when the bears hired him but maybe he’s done better things than I’m mentioning so that’s the point of my post to get your opinion on him. Do you like him at the position he’s currently at?
For me I’d have to say A town where you live, Hatsukoi zombie, and To drown in you(Manhwa but one of my favorite reads of all time for any format) have to be my top 3 since I don’t have a clear one! I’ve heard Quintessential Couplets and Domestic Girlfriend Mangas are really good despite the anime also! What would have to be your favorite/s mangas told from a male pov?
