Any online certs or programs that actually helped you land a job?
The job market has been rough as we know in 2026, hell even since 2025 and I really do not want to waste time or money on something that does not actually help with getting hired. College is not really my thing, so I’ve been looking into alternatives like online certs, courses, programs not bootcamps. I’m also still trying to figure out which careers are even worth looking into as well. Looking for advicee on online stuff that helped them land a job or made a big difference in your resume or skillset?

Dog hair embedded in bed sheets?
My dog sleeps in bed with me. The sheets have so much hair embedded that washing doesn't get it all out. What actually works for getting dog hair out of fabric?
Full appraisal on every jumbo loan, is that always required or can it ever be waived?
Came across something about appraisal waivers being possible on certain conventional loans under specific conditions. Wondering if anything like that exists on the jumbo side or if a full appraisal is just always part of the deal regardless of the situation.
You NEED to look at this peak influencer inframe: jinikeni2
Here's my top 5 recommendation from this super underrated influencer, give one hour of your life to binge this account and im pretty sure you'll follow him lol, idc if you put allegations on me like "okay jinikeni you can log outta reddit now". Recommendation list:
"Rishta?" A 10-minute short film on fights in relationships, pinned in his reels tab
A 4-ep series with a girl, about modern dating, quirky and cute and soooo bollywood lalaland coded
"Baal kaise kaatun sir" one of the highest viewed in his reels, 2.5 Mn views, I followed him instantly after watching this reel only at first sight
A reel about a male nurse, ya fir you can watch a reel about a son talking to his parents who's in bihar, both are goated imo
"Kya lautaane aaye ho" his most viewed reel, a reel about a frustrated lover ig, after breakup sharing his thoughts. Also peak.
It really hurts goated creators like this being so underrated, thats why I posted him here.
Also talking bout underrated filmmakers, you can check out itssanchitbansal too, and stvksn too.
Rip inframe: reddit acct of s****** garg /s 😭🥀🥀
She was defending herself so much yesterday and got like 500 downvotes, maybe thats why got banned lol 😭🥀
She's giving odd vibes lately inframe: srishti garg
Idk her content looks really low effort nowadays, maybe after that pet dog fiasco I find her irritating and pretentious so I dont find her likeable anymore, but yeah after that fiasco her content went really really downhill im ngl
I feel like for most of you, tier of bschool wont really matter
Saw alot of folks worrying over they scored 99tile 998 and still joining udaipur or kashipur typa bschool cuz they fcked a sectional, but I dont think that'll matter that much like, given your acads you'll ofc be in top 10%tile in udaipur, or top 50%tile in say shillong, you'll get that 30lpa in both of these institutes. Similarly if you're an sc/st and gets into iima in same %tile, chances are less that you'll be in top ends of placements. It all comes down to your own capabilities when deciding between tier 1/2 or tier 2/3 (im not talking about an iima deserving candidate in amity type of things lol)
Only con is going to be networking and similar peer group, idk how to solve that tho.
Just my thoughts btw. All the best to y'all whetever you're going. Fcking go and ace that place.
Edit: ik placement data is kinda wrong here didnt think about figures that much, Im just talking bout how much calibre matters and tried giving some examples
ive been following the colgate class action lawsuit along with a few similar product labeling cases and have some questions about the underlying mechanics.
the colgate case involves hello kids toothpaste and claims about what's actually in the product versus what the labeling represents. my understanding is this falls under consumer fraud or false advertising theory rather than product liability. I want to understand better if in labeling cases where the misrepresentation is on a mass-produced product with uniform packaging, the common question argument seems relatively strong since every class member saw the same label, but i'd expect defendants to fight materiality hard. how do courts typically handle the question of whether a label claim would have actually changed a purchasing decision at the class cert stage? there's also the costco kirkland tequila case which raises similar issues about "100% blue weber agave" labeling. curious whether these tend to live or die on the same grounds.
we've tried every shared app and they all have the same problem, I'm the only one who uses them. looking for something physical that lives on the wall and gets the whole family on the same page. is skylight still the go to or has anything better come along?
we have two kids, 7 and 9, the main issues are morning routines and after school, I don't need something fancy, I need something they'll finally look at without being told to
bonus points if it reduces the number of times I have to repeat myself before 8am
I've been freelancing in video production for a while now and the single most stressful part of the work isn't the shoots, it's the payment cycle. I've had net-30 invoices turn into net-90 with no communication. I've chased three emails deep on invoices that were "processing." I've had payments come through for the wrong amount with no explanation.
And what's interesting is that there's almost no public information about which production companies are reliable payers, it's all passed around in whisper networks and DMs from people you already know.
I'm trying to change that a little. If you've freelanced for production companies, which ones in the major markets (LA, New York, Florida, Atlanta, Chicago) paid reliably and communicated well? And which ones made you regret saying yes?
Not looking to start drama, just genuinely building a better picture of where the reliable work is.
Recording consent is getting more complicated with AI tools everywhere. Some clients don't blink, others tense up the second something's capturing the session. How are you managing the disclosure piece without it becoming an awkward conversation every time?
Toured three offices yesterday. All quoted monthly rates but none mentioned parking. Turns out parking is 400 to 500 extra per month at all of them. That's significant when you're budgeting. Are there Business Bay offices where parking is actually included in the rate or is it always separate? Makes a big difference to total cost.
