I am working as a contractor (W-2) in data annotation for a big tech company and in IT Help Desk for an MSP. I can't handle both jobs anymore. Which job should I keep?

I kind of like IT better than data annotation. This is my first job in IT (started 9 months ago) and my second one in data annotation (first one started in February 2025). I'm currently burning out working 80 hours per week. Which job will be better for my future? I am worried that annotation is a dead end job, I never saw anyone getting promoted to QA, I guess those people stay there forever? Overall what do you guys think, is AI annotation or IT better?

I'm working 2 full time jobs right now and I need to decide which way to to.

I've been working in IT help desk for about 9 months at a MSP. I like the job and I think that I am learning transferrable skills.

The other job I have been working is AI annotation at a big tech firm. I have been workin in that field since January 2025, I am at a new company since February.

Now, in may the MSP increased my hours from part-time to full-time and it looks like it stays like that.

I try to focus mainly on the MSP not the AI job. I don't think that I will be able to hold both jobs full-time for much longer without being fired at the AI job.

Is IT the better field or should I stay in AI instead of IT? I like IT better, but I wonder if the future would be better in AI annotation (which I don't think because it's just some entry level work and they will not let me touch any code). I would like to get some advice please.

My son 6yo got hit by a hard plastic bottom of a zip line by his half sister on purpose. That was yesterday. Should I take him to the ER or report it to CPS/DCF? last week she scratched his belly with her toe nail really bad

I don't know what to do, my ex even refuses to address it with her daughter.

Shoild I take 1 week of this summer (no PTO)? I would like to spend more time with my child 6yo. I usually work 80 hours a week, I guess I can take 1 week off at both jobs?

I don't have any debts, but I'm worried to lose one job if I take off at both jobs for a full week, and 1 job barely enough to pay my bills (modest lifestyle).

Can you buy and hold SOXL? I've done it with TQQQ and sold my positions. I am thinking about going 50/50 TQQQ/SOXL. Any thoughts? Is SOXL too volatile?

Went 50% in USO today. Was that a good decision? I guess upside potential is higher than the downside risk?

The rest is currently in cash because an oil crisis would most likely cause stocks to go down.

9 months in at a MSP, applying at other IT jobs but I'm not getting interviews. Is it me or is the market really that bad?

I only had 1 interview since I started applying. There is some interest, but it turns out that those jobs try to pay $17-19 per hour and I'm not moving on for less money.

JD Vance just said that a deal with Iran could be signed in one week or that it could take months. When will we actually reach a oil shortage if the strait of Hormuz stays closed?

I wonder if it is still around August/September or if the date could get pulled back.

Is the world still burning through oil reserves or did enough demand destruction occur? When will we hit a critical point for the economy?

I remember, initial forecasts estimated that August/September would be when there would be a major supply shock.

I've been working in help desk L1 at an MSP for 7 months. First 6 months were part-time (20 hours). What's the best way to get a L2 Job? Certifications, finishing my unrelated BA degree, or just applying? I'm in central Florida.

I've an interview for a support engineer position tomorrow. Are jeans and a polo shirt a good choice? I also have blue suit pants, but usually I get better interview results in more casual outfits.

I'm currently working at an MSP help desk L1. I got a job offer to become a LiDAR support engineer. What are the pro's and con's of accepting the offer?

I guess I would be in a niche segment, but I think the position overall is superior. Do I have good/better career chances as a LiDAR support engineer L2 compared to general IT?
