I am losing weight, but it is VERY slow. Does it sound like I'm doing anything wrong?

Started calorie deficit june last year. Since ive lost 35lbs which is great! But ive seen people lose that since January!

My loss is the equivalent overall of 2 - 3lbs per month. Generally its 1lbs a week, but christmas etc I switch to maintenance for a few days/week. Ive taken three maintenance breaks overall.

.....

Data:

I'm 5'6 F. Start weight last year was 205lbs. Today its 169lbs.

1750 calories

7k steps per day goal (minimum)

I weigh *everything* and record everything I eat or drink. I dont even do cheat days, I work everything into my calories.

I don't really do workouts because I can never stay consistent with them, so most my focus is on food.

....

Keep going or does it look like something needs to change?

First time - how exactly do I go about ordering a repeat prescription?

I got a 3 month pack, and was told to get a repeat after that. At 6 months I'll have an actually face to face review.

However, I've almost finished the 3 months. I've gone on the app, and it doesnt show any repeat prescription, and says that its unavailable to me.

Was I meant to do something first? Or is it just an app error?

Would I go to the GP receptionist to ask about this, or the pharmacy/boots I get it from?

Becoming extremely burnt out with constant noise. What are your go to solutions? Headphones recs? Loop any good?

I feel like I'm going crazy thats how bad its getting.

TLDR because I ended up ranting (sorry): constant noise at home, then travel, work, then home again. Can't cope anymore mentally. Literally as I type this my brother just came home, burped loudly, and is now singing all the way up the stairs - OH! And now is sat with his door open playing tiktok after I've begged to stop.

I sound so damn petty and dramatic, but when I say its constant noise I really mean constant.

Any recs?

Sensitive ears - hot/sweaty feeling easily. Oily skin. Also I wear makeup for work - so kinda concerned about over head use and rubbing off makeup?

Good but comfy?

.....

.....

.....

My favourite thing is to read with a very quiet ambiance, I can't focus well with noise, talking, etc.

The issue is that this is my day:

I get woke at 4 in the morning by my brother HAVING A PISS and farting because he refuses to close the door

I then hear his alarms between 5am - 7am because he refuses to close bedroom door too so he can let cat wonder. Instead of just opening and closing a door like the rest of us.

6am next door starts on tredmill

I wake, breakfast, set off for work. On metro... no one seems to use headphones anymore! Its constant tiktok, football updates, music.

General work noise.

Back to metro noise journey home.

Home. Make my dinner. An hour of semi silence

Then brother is home. He goes "meow" to the cat. And then does it all the way up to his room (or sings). Every. Day. Then he sits in his room, door open, tiktoks and videos playing loud enough that I can hear over my TV.

I can't read to ambiance anymore.

I can only use brown noise very loudly by my door to down others out. But eventually it gives me a headache. I cant watch my own shows or anything because noise from rest of house.

I can't read!!

Nattering on the stairs. Mam talks super loudly, can hear all the way from living room. TVs. Next door running on his treadmill, then singing.

.......

Its every day. Constant.

I've begged people to close doors, to please keep down a little.

Their response is that I'm trying to dictate their lives, being controlling, dramatic, selfish, "getting silly now", playing on it to get my way, etc.

But I really am just overwhelmed. I come home and cry every single day. I need to move out but cant afford it. I'm clawing at walls.

....

....

I think i need overhead headphones? Which annoys me because I feel i shouldnt HAVE to wear headphones constantly. But also they make my ears feel hot and uncomfortable.

I have in ear headphones for metro, but they ache after a while. So its put me off trying Loop or anything.

Are Loop good for making things quieter? Would they ache, or are they quite comfy?

Other suggestions?

Would an owala lid (32oz stainless steel) fit onto a tritan (plastic) owala?

I want a tritan owala because its lighter material and I prefer room temp water.

I really want the pink one, which isnt available UK

But.... I have a pink owala already. Would my pink lid be able to go on the tritan bottle (and would it even look good/right lmao)

Or would it be too big and not fit?

I have a kindle paperwhite 6th edition, and the screen has that rougher matte feel which I actually quite enjoy! Its almost paper like.

But I got my sister the latest paperwhite for her birthday, and I notice the screen has a smoother feel. Not 100% smooth like a phone screen or something, but definitely significantly more "screen like" in feel.

So I was curious if the kindle basic had more of the OG feel, or if they've ditched it too.

An example my mind has been obsessing over:

Mafia style arranged marriage. He is angry, bitter, cold. Maybe their families were enemies. You know, the basics.

First time sex together, he is rough and cold. Maybe is ignorant that shes a virgin or has a traumatic history. End of deed.

And instead of falling into orgasmic bliss, or being obsessed with his dick. She actually concludes that she doesnt like sex and refuses to have it again.

Leading to: him realising he fucked up. Has to soften toward her. Apologise. Coax her into his bed. Be sweet. Help show her sex can be good. Etc

So you can see theres some slight dubcon vibes - hence im asking dark romance sub 🩷

Is there ANYTHING out there with this kind of dynamic?

Honestly even as simple as her being a virgin, sex hurting instead of being magically perfect, and having to be encouraged to try again.
