I'll be honest. I haven't read much of his works, however, I have obviously done a lot of research, whether from AI or from the İnternet, and he does have a lot of interesting ideas.

One thing he is very consistent at is that he does reject an atheistic materialist view that Karl Marx provides for history and society. He also does show how Islam, like with every other religion, became tools of an oppressive system.

But from what I know, he was significant in raising social consciousness for the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, even though the Revolution necessarily wasn't socialistic, but just an Islamic one that was dominated by clerics and conservatives.

Anyway. Do you people have opinions on him?
