I have followed the guides i found online. I didnt know orbiting and some other unusual effects didnt work before i bought this thing as i just liked the hat and thought that the flames would fit the aesthetic and got it. Now the effect is either inside of my scouts torso or straight up gone. I have disabled the unusual effect sliders and done everything i found online about fixing these problems but none of them do anything. I did every single one of them and looked at my scout from a second account on a different pc as i learnt that taunting makes the effect dissapear. What exactly else can i do to fix my effect?

I have gotten the Handhelddiy TMR sticks and no matter how much i calibrate them physically and in bazzite they still drift. I have replaced them with my original sticks and now they also drift. All the ribbon cables look perfectly fine so i dont know what i fucked up. Is this a software or hardware issue?

Im fixing up my friends laptop. It has a Athlon 3150U (2C4T) 12GB of RAM (@2400MT) and the Vega 3 iGPU. It runs a bunch of pre 2014 AAA games pretty well at 720p 50FPS but these games dont have upscaling to get it back to 1080p and if I drop the resolution down a bit more it gets to 60fps but at native it doesnt look as nice anymore. I want to gift him Lossless Scaling so he can play these games at a higher upscaled resolution. Would LS just drop his already low FPS even lower while upscaling or would it actually help him out?

My PC has a 5700X 64GB of RAM and an RX 6800XT. Today i launched a game while i was in desktop mode and noticed that i was getting way more fps compared to what i normally got when i was in game mode. I was getting around 100-120 FPS while in desktop mode but once i ran the game in game mode this dropped down to 80-100 fps. Is this normal and if not how can i fix it?

I have a 2021 model 6800H 16GB RAM RTX 3050 Flow X13 It gets around 40-50 fps (at 1080p not 1200p) in cyberpunk 2077's benchmark with Steam Deck settings, I also have a ROG ALLY X 2024 with the Z1E and even an older 2019 HP Omen with an Intel 9750H and GTX 1650 (im excluding my desktops). Both the ALLY X and the Omen get around 50-60 FPS with the exact same settings. Is the TPD limit that agressive that an iGPU is better than a dGPU? I also reinstalled windows and updated all the drivers on the Flow and it was actually worse before.

Im on a rog ally x, this doesnt happen every single time, today it happened while i was watching a movie on vlc and my stop in the metro came so i put the ally into sleep mode and once i got to the place i was heading to i woke it up and closed the movie and tried going into game mode. The device got stuck at a black screen for 5+ minutes and i had to hold down the power button and restarted it which fixed it. How can i stop this from happening? I dont want to waste half of my break trying to turn the device on.

Does the TDP in HHD equate to CPU+GPU's total power use or is it 13W CPU + 13W GPU? I have mine currently at 17W but my CPU uses 10W while my GPU uses 17W. Do i have to manually limit tdp from the steam menu?

I have a rog ally x with bazzite however the games for some reason get a couple hundred MB uptates every single day, sometimes twice in the same day. This doesnt happen on my bazzite htpc or my windows pc. Whats causing this?

I have a Superlight 1 & 2, an FM ULX, Glorious Model O wireless, Pulsar X2 and a G305. Every single one has scroll wheel issues, my country doesnt allow me to buy anything from abroad and there are no stores that sell encoders so every time my scrollwheel stops working (outside of warranty) i have to get a new mouse hence the fuckton of mice I have. Whats causing my scrollwheels to die? My house is somewhat dusty and i clean my pc/laptops twice every year but cleaning my mice do absolutely nothing. I had repaired the superlight 1 once as during that time i was able to buy some TTC gold encoders but it still broke after 1 year of use. I do not want to constantly buy new mice while every other component still works perfectly fine.

In HHD i am trying to have full functionality of my Ally X without also having buttons/trackpads the device is missing. I have tried the 4 options and the Xbox controller doesnt have gyro, the steam controller makes it so the back buttons dont work and the dualsense one has a trackpad. Is there no alternative to this? Do i have to stick with the xbox controller and wait till they add a new feature?

Basically the title. I installed Cemu from the Bazaar which i believe is Flatpak and not AppImage. Do i have to format my drives and change my passwords?

Is there a glitch preventing Bazzite from running on this device? Every time it "Installs" it gets stuck at a black screen and when i wait for 30+ minutes nothing happens and once i restart the device i go back to my current OS which is SteamOS.

I bought a second hand Ally X for 600$ today. I already use Bazzite on my Gaming PC so i decided to install it. However every single time I try to install Bazzite the Ally's screen goes black once the installation is complete and even after i waited over an hour then reset the thing Bazzite wasnt installed. I then thought that maybe SteamOS would work. Which it does as i get to use SteamOS and install games however when I try to run said games the Cloud Syncronization gets stuck at 2% and i get an error and the game wont launch. When I go into desktop mode to install Firefox or any other thing from the discover section none of them install as they are all stuck at 0% till i get an error. When I bought the thing it was on Windows, I installed Cyberpunk 2077, KCD2 and RDR2 as well as CEMU and a couple benchmarking tools, the Ally X was able to run all of those with 0 issues. I really dont want to use Windows, all my desktops except my work PC are on Bazzite or Mint and using a Windows PC just feels like work now so I have no enthusiasm to play games.
