Body kits (splitter,diffuser etc…)

Where y’all getting your front splitters, diffusers and side skirts from? NIA & Tom’s are extremely overpriced for the non carbon options. I understand the front splitters is longer than a IS 350, but what about the side skirts & diffuser?

Performance upgrades

Sup y’all. Been owning my IS500 for a week now. I love it. There are some mods I’d like to do to fine tune it. I don’t want it to be track car oriented but I do enjoy serious canyon carving. I’ve done some research and came to conclusion that these may be the best mods to do for daily driving’s I’d just like to hear your feedback

1: mod one: LCA bushing from the RCF.
2: Swift R lowering springs
3: lower control arms
4:top mounted chassis brace
5: oil & tranny cooler
6: this is a maybe but possibly 6 piston ISF brake conversion.

Would this be ideal for a daily driver? I know it won’t be M3 level, and I do want to retain the OEM AVS

New IS500 owner

After weeks of research, I finally made a decision and purchased an IS500. I cross shopped between an M4, M3, RCF, RS5, RS3 and much more. I came to the realization the IS500 is such a special car. The glorious V8, the low production & the rarity, and how simple it is. if you’re thinking about getting one, don’t wait. Don’t be looking for an IS500 in 5 years and realize the prices haven’t changed. Buy it now. I have no regrets.

Is it worth opening a Schwab PCRA account, 457B?

I know this is a broad question. Ive had a governmental 457b for two years now and would like to invest a bit more aggressively. my current allocation is 80% in large cap, 20% small-mid cap. the investment choices are very limited. For those who have opened a PCRA, did you returns dramatically inrease? would it make sense if I plan to primarily invest in VTI, VOO and a few individual stocks?

My second option was to set up recurring investments on robin hood. is it wise to keep contributing 15-20% through my 457B and a few hundred on robin hood?

Carmax warranty or bmw extended warranty?

Hey guys, looking to finally buy an M3/M4 G series. I’ve been looking at a few 2023 models on carmax. Would I still be able to buy BMWs extended warranty if eligible or should I buy carmax max care warranty?

Bodyguard 2.0 ruined other guns for me. Any light weight 9mm?

I’ve been CCWing the body guard 2.0 for a year now. It’s light, shoots accurately and can wear it with any fit, shorts, suit, normal clothing. The versatility makes it difficult to go back to my P365 or Glock. I’m wondering if there are any other micro 9mm that are light weight? My P365XL is fairly heavy. I do plan on ordering a canik prime radian but I have a feeling I’ll be sticking with my bodyguard.

Flying with Jetblue/ checking a firearm

I will be flying to another state and wanted to check a firearm for the first time. After doing some research I realized every airline has. their own policy. After reading Jetblue's policy, they indicated the checked firearm must be in a locked case, with the ammunition being separated, in a different case. I was wondering if that means I can just pick up a box of 20 rounds and leave them in that case and just check the firearm in a locked case? does the ammunition need to be locked as well? hoping to get replies from people who have flown with Jetblue since they're policy is different

How many miles is too many? Lexus RCF

Hey guys. I’ve been looking for my next sports car and I’ve decided I’m either going Is500 or RCF. Part of me wants to get an RCF a bit more. There are several high mileage F’s out there but I would prefer to stay under 60k miles. Unfortunately the lower mileage ones are going for a ridiculous price in my opinion. I do plan on keeping the car for a long time. How does the interior hold up? Is it safe to get one around 80k miles?

Which sports sedan? g80 M3, Is500, CT4 BW, anything else?

Looking to get a sports sedan after years of driving a boring hybrid.

G80 M3: ever since I was a child, I always admired BMW, especially the M3. The G80 seems like an amazing car for performance and from a luxury standpoint. It is a bit pricy compared to the others I suggested. I can see myself driving this for a few years.

Lexus IS500: this car doesn’t excite me like the M3 does but reliability and the fact that it will hold value long term is kind of reassuring.

CT4 BW: seems like the American version of the Lexus is500 in terms of rarity. Performance like the M3 as well. I just don’t know how well it will hold up in a 3-5 years. Not a fan of the looks either

I do plan on buying these cars used. I’ll take any other suggestions too! I don’t plan to track any of these but I do enjoy canyon carving.

Why does my JBL flip project more sound than my Sonos set up?

Before you call me crazy, Sonos quality is far superior. My main concern is when I play music on my Beam + 2 Sonos one's it doesn't project around the house as well as my JBL Flip 7. If I remain in the middle of the surround set up, it obviously is superior. when im moving around the house doing chores, the Flip just projects a lot more louder throughout rooms. I did tweak the Sonos to play more through the surround speakers as well, so its not a setting issues.
