My first kcon experience (Saturday 1 day all access)

We got the convention center a bit past 7:30 am. They were beginning to fill up the queue for access into the convention center and we wound up being in the second row of the taped area. The line moved really fast and even though the event wasn’t open yet, we wound up being close to the entrance by the time of opening. It wasn’t hot at all and the sun only came out at about 9:30 am. We got in at about 10:05 am.

We went straight to the Olive Young Festa. Before entering the convention we joined the queue on the Mnet plus app. It said there was 3000+ people ahead of us but we just walking into the festa (all they want is to know you signed in). The line for check in and a bag was really long so we went straight to the booths and got stuff. We wound up asking a worker to have one of the boxes they were throwing away so we used that to carry our stuff until about an our later when we got our bag. Though we did not get to all the booths, we filled up our bags and got the olive young goody bag (you don’t need to get all the stamps!)

We then went to the artist stage because I wanted to see yeonjun and p1harmony. We had an alarm for 12:30 pm to go. Honestly it was easier to see them farther away rather than in the mob. i feel like the most annoying part was how much space premium and vip had when they didn’t even fill up that part. If they actually made the barricade closer, we’d be able to see batter. I got a row behind barricade for P1Harmony and I wound up going to the back after they sang their first song.

After, we went downstairs. Everyone on insta said that this is where all the stuff was but honestly it was mostly sellers. We didn’t stay down here for long.

We used Binbox lockers ($30) to keep our goodies and left for dinner.

When we came back we went back into festa (it was closing, and got to some most booths we hadn’t gone to yet.

Then we joined a line for entering crypto (it was all over place as in self formed lines but it worked out) and gave out freebies.

We had seats in the front of the 300s and still had an amazing view. I know zb1 was supposed to have an hour but I still feel it had a great turnout!

Looking for YA books for upper high school like Perks of Being a Wallflower, Aristotle and Dante, and Looking for Alaska

In middle school, I really enjoyed dystopian novels, but since entering high school, I've really enjoyed more philosophical novels. I'm entering my senior year, and I used to be a bibliomaniac, but as of now, I hardly have time.

Help!! First KCON!!

I have 1Day All Access for Saturday, and I'm mainly going for P1H and ZB1. Because P1H is going to the artist stage, I was wondering if it's possible if I can get relatively close to the front with my kind of pass. And if possible, how early should I show up? I really want to be able to have the opportunity to have a closer view of the stage because I've never been able to see Piwon, and at all the K-pop concerts I've seen, I've had nosebleeds. Thank you so much!

Edit: Also, is bringing groups' lightsticks of groups who aren't at KCON acceptable? I ult ateez and theirs is the only lightstick I have but I love the lightstick experience.

Hear me out: Ludwig reminds me of Reigen from Mob Psycho

HEAR ME OUT

Overall visuals give...I feel "Professor L" really summed it up for me. I also feel like they are both really genuine in their advice for people, but often play it off as jokes and stuff. I'd really add more, but I'm freaking delirious... I swear it works.

What's with natsuhiko

How did he join the broadcasting group?? I know he really likes sakura, but when did that start? Because from what we know,>! sakura was the one who put the 7 wonders in place, so she must be hella old?? !<So when did she meet natsuhiko? and what made him able to see supernaturals? And somehow he always comes back (like after being trapped in the door place). Idk if this is a stupid question but I've always wondered about it!

Here are my favorites (includes the order of anime/manga consumption):

Tokyo Ghoul (manga, I watched the anime but iykyk)

Mob Psycho 100 (manga, anime)

Attack on Titan (anime, manga)

Toilet Bound Hanako Kun (anime, manga)

Kaguya Sama: Love is War (manga, anime)

The Summer Hikaru Died (manga, anime)

tell me what else to read/watch!!!!!

I've seen/read: Tokyo ghoul, tokyo ghoul re, aot, kaguya sama, mob psycho, toilet-bound hanako-kun, monster, call of the night, fma:b, marridge toxin, junji ito, death note, wotakoi, the summer hikaru died, look back, demon slater, jjk, given, a silent voice, your lie in april, erased, jjba (part 1 and 2, some of part 3), naruto (and shippuden), frieren, spyxfamily, some of evangelion, parasyte, saiki k, soul eater, go for it nakamura, blue exorsist, house huspand, ouran hs host club, noragami, Nana, chainsaw man, kakegurui, my dressup darling, witch watch, mha, haikyuu, blue period, oshi no ko, thus spoke rohan kishibe, don't toy with me miss nagatoro, wing breaker, assasination classroom, teasing master takagi san, tokyo revengers (only first season), toradora, sailor moon, initial d, dr. stone (first few volumes), blue lock (some of it), one piece (only the first few seasons), bleach (first few seasons), komi can't communicate, one punch man, zom 100, sword art online, bunny girl senpai, ramparts of ice, kill blue, great pretender, suzume, words bubble up like soda pop, kotaro lives alone, violet evergarden

also I feel like I'm still a beginner in anime? I watched pokemon, naruto, and sailor moon as a kid, but I only started watching anime in 2021 when my friend recomended demon slayer. And then I stopped in late 2023. I'm only just getting back into watching anime. During my off period I mainly casually read manga for a break from academic stuff.

TOKYO GHOUL IS NOT MY FAVORITE ANIME (It's just because the manga is great in every way. Honestly the anime is a lot lower on my list of favorites. MP100 is prob my favorite anime)
