Happy birthday to a certain talented Wasian who appeared in the music video of Madwoman.
I originally made this back in March, weeks before some Wasian women appeared in Laufey's music video, which included Olympic champion Alysa Liu.

Once standing on the site of what is now the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), the first San Ignacio stone church was the Jesuit church before the Society of Jesus was expelled from the Philippines in 1768. Construction began in 1626 and was completed in 1632. It was the third church built on the site: the first was a wooden church dedicated to St. Ignatius of Loyola, while the second was a stone church dedicated to St. Anne that was damaged by the earthquake of 1600.
Following the expulsion of the Jesuits, the church gradually fell into disrepair despite being administered by the Seminario de San Carlos from 1784. It suffered severe damage in the earthquakes of 1852 and 1863; the site was later converted into the military barracks known as the Cuartel de España.
Two decades after the Jesuits returned to the Philippines in 1859, they were granted permission to reuse stones from the ruined church in 1879 as the foundation for a new San Ignacio Church on Calle Arzobispo, the site of today's Centro de Turismo Intramuros.
This Minecraft reconstruction of the first San Ignacio stone church is based on an 1880 photograph of the church ruins and a reconstruction watercolor painting by Arch. Manolo Noche. The build is faithful to the original while taking careful creative liberties in some elements, such as the pediment.

This is inspired by Ancient Greek and Roman architecture, especially the Doric and Tuscan Orders, which are finally possible in Minecraft on this scale.
White cushions were used for the bases and capitals of the columns, the cornice of the entablature, and also for the raking of the pediment, along with light gray wool slabs and poplar trap doors.

Built this in Minecraft for the 415th Founding Anniversary of the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
A National Cultural Treasure, the Arch of the Centuries at UST is a unique monument combining an original 17th-century portal with a mid-20th-century replica. It serves as a symbolic rite of passage for the Thomasian community, marking the start of a student's journey during the Welcome Walk and their departure from the university upon graduation.
