Following up on an earlier post, I contacted 18650BatteryStore and LiIonWholesale about availability of Molicel M35A 18650 and they both said they would not have them in stock for the foreseeable future. I found them and ordered on IMR, which I read on the wiki here is a reputable vendor. But now I'm worried that they may be counterfeits. I realize I might be paranoid, but they're going into a project with a lot of equipment cost in it and I would hate for them to malfunction and wreck the equipment. I'm just wondering how IMR would have them in stock if they're not available at all at other vendors. They were twice the cost that was listed on the sold out sites so maybe that's why they had them. Is there a way to verify the authenticity? Is IMR definitely a reliable vendor? Again, sorry if I'm being paranoid. Thanks!

"Making" first belt from a Tandy belt blank. Trying to measure for placing the holes (that tang goes into not the hardware mounting ones). One of the reasons I'm making the belt is that belts have always fit me weird. I (male) have high hips that aren't pronounced. I'm pretty skinny so my silhouette is a straight shot and waist bands don't have much to grab onto. Therefore always have a problem with pants sliding down. If I measure above my hips then pants will sit oddly high. What's the best way to measure for the belt in this situation? Is this a measurement I should go get at a tailor or something? Want to make sure the belt fits nicely as I don't have the budget to go through prototype mistakes. Thanks!

Have 2 Rak based nodes and 2 Wio L1 Pro. They all message fine on public and private channel. Can dm between the L1's, but can't dm between Raks or from Rak to L1's. Using same fw on all and same android phone to control the Raks. Just shows message failure. Any idea what's wrong? Thanks!

I'm in a split unit house and I know the roach problem is from disgusting neighbors. Kitchen and bathroom at back of house are infested. All food is covered, trash taken out daily, etc. Can't move at the moment so can anyone recommend the best intervention to try to control a roach problem. Should I use bombs? Which ones? They are smaller (1/4" to micro) sized. I'm in southeast USA. I've tried the Harris Roach tablets and the Combat Max gel in the big syringe. They help a little, but not enough. Can't afford hiring a service and landlord is a slumlord who is ignoring me about it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Been wanting to get into the hobby for a long time, but haven't had time and money to play with. Bought a Boruit D10 headlamp because a YT I followed suggested it and it was very cheap ($13). He suggested a few mods, but I've since realized he's full of bs. So are there any very basic beginner mods for it that are cheap that you would suggest to get my feet wet in the hobby. Don't know enough to know what my target goal would be. I use it for camping music festivals and general use. Thanks!

Imr and Illumn have them in stock, but at about double the listed price from the first two vendors. I'm buying a good number and have a tight budget on this project so the price difference isn't negligible. Anyone have advice on how long the sold out vendors might take to restock, ie does it make sense to wait it out or just buy the pricier ones? Thanks!

Newbie. Know minimum about 18650. Using for diy meshtastic nodes and headlamps. Saw the sticky for approved vendors. Many brand/model options. Is there a sweet spot for expected price for a good quality 2500-3000 mah 18650 that doesn't need to be exceptional? (Or what's the best way to decide which specific one to buy other than mah?) I've wanted an FTR for a long time and am getting close to have the money lined up. From what I've seen it's best to get a 2022 or newer. I've bought one other motorcycle before, used Sportster, and got completely screwed. Incorrectly thought I knew a bit about bike mechanics. Had a bunch of problems that led to it having been sitting in pieces for several years not worth the money it would take to fix it. So, I'm giving up on it and trying again. My question is since I don't feel confident in checking out a used bike to make sure it's in good shape is my only option to buy through a dealer? And if so will I unavoidably overpay? Thanks for any help! Money is so tight that I can't afford to make a mistake.
