Assalamualaikum,

I work as a software engineer in North America. I always avoid getting into a situation where I'm even alone with a woman. But sometimes, if I'm taking an interview or a client comes to meet us, a lady extends her hand and I shake my hand to not be disrespectful and cause any embarrassment to my colleagues.

But this really hurts my soul, as the prophet saw has said that having an iron nail or needle driven into one's head is better than touching a woman who is not lawfully permissible.

How can I avoid shaking hands in such cases?

Salaam everyone, Im a 29 year old software engineer earning around $120k with good career growth ahead, likely heading toward $200k+ or potentially starting a business. My employer offers both Traditional and Roth 401k with a company match of 25% put into a traditional 401k. My goal is to retire at 60 and keep halal investments. Im also saving cash to be able to buy a condo/house.
Do you suggest going for a 401k or Roth 401k, which can save me more money based off my needs?

Cash- $57,000
Stocks and crypto- $31k

Take home is $6,400
Monthly expenses- $1,600
300$ rent and utilities
200$ Gas
400$ Food
600$ miscellaneous
Car insurance- 100$

No debt, and I own my car
I don't own any place and only rent.

I have never put money in 401k or Roth. One of the reasons was because I wanted to be debt free and pay off as fast as possible.

What recommendations do you have for me on my finances, regarding investments and saving for retirement?

The EB3 ROW FAD is September 1, 2024. Is a case with priority date of September 14, 2024 processed right now or do you have to wait until the FAD passes it?
Edit: This is my case. My status had changed to 'We are currently processing your form I-485' last week.
I got three FTA0's along with an RFIE.

I received a request for evidence from USCIS for the I-485 application saying that an incorrect Supplement J was submitted with missing employer and job offer details.

I reviewed it and all of the information was correctly entered onto the form.

What should I do? Do I send the I485 Supplement J form again?
