What RL equine breeds do you think the Mane 6 would be?

For Applejack, I think she'd be an American Cream Draft. They're the only heavy draft horse breed originating in the US and are mostly used as heavy farm workhorses.

For Fluttershy, I think an Akhal-Teke. They're very slender and usually have bright, sometimes almost iridescent gold coats. They're tall and long-limbed but very dainty and honestly look like breathing on them too hard would make them shatter like glass.

For Rarity, I would maybe say Arabian, but honestly with her curly mane and more bold nature (and how she's clearly got physical strength), I'd maybe pick Friesian, Hanoverian or maybe a Dutch Warmblood. Possibly a thoroughbred.

For Rainbow Dash, maybe a thoroughbred but doubtful a purebred one with how nervous and finicky they can be - possibly a mix like the Irish Sport Horse (thoroughbred and irish draught) which would give her a stronger overall build and be less prone to nerves, since they're often used in eventing and foxhunting so they have to be calm around loud noises and fast moving objects. Possibly a Selle Francais but...She doesn't seem very French to me!

Pinkie is definitely a pony of some kind, probably a shetland or a very high-strung mix.

Twilight might fit Arabian best, as they are usually very smart, but also sensitive and are prone to anxiety. Lipizzans could be a contender too, since they're used for classical dressage quite often and have to be smart enough to remember very complex choreography that is basically dance. They're highly disciplined and have great memory and can be relatively versatile when introduced to different tasks.

[Desktop Web] Have selected 'show less like this' on bunnytrials and other subs many times, still showing up.

I have selected 'show less like this' on bunnytrials and many other 'game' type subreddits several times, and have gotten the popup bar that it will not be suggested again, only for those to continue showing up again and again! Why don't they actually STAY gone and how can I make them stop?

Humanizing animals has gone too far and is harming the animals themselves

People have gone way, way too far in how they view animals as equals to human beings, and I've seen it from many different perspectives.

From working in rescue and shelters: A lot of animals that absolutely should be put down are not because people have the mentality of 'we can save them all with LOVE!' that just doesn't work. Animals that are blatantly dangerous, many of whom have already caused incredible harm and loss of life - sometimes even HUMAN life - are moved around, given 'rehabilitative training' and have tens of thousands of dollars or more that could be used on dogs who are not dangerous and just have a medical need or something to be ready to be adopted into a loving home, while safe animals are left to rot on the streets because the shelters are too full of bloodthirsty, out of control animals that they refuse to euthanize. We do not have a shortage of dogs! There is no underpopulation problem of mixes and breeds that aren't fit for living in households and communities, there is no reason to try and preserve them! And yet, if you suggest culling animals that are behaviorally dangerous, are sickly and would require very expensive care, or have other criteria that make them unsuitable and unlikely to be adopted - you're called a monster. Shelters will straight up LIE to people about the dogs' breeds and history to put them in homes that specifically do not want those animals, and then blame the adopters when it predictably goes wrong.

As an owner: People act like if you adopt or buy an animal of any kind, you have made an absolute commitment to them and should turn your own entire life upside down before considering returning or rehoming them. Someone got a puppy that it turns out doesn't get along with the dog they already have? They'd be MONSTROUS to return it to the breeder, insomuch as they're already monsters for going to a breeder to begin with! Adopted a dog from the shelter that it turns out was 'medicated' at the time and acted calmer due to that, and once it wore off became an absolute terror in the household and isn't at all what they wanted or what the shelter claimed? You can't take it back to the shelter, you promised that animal!! They're emotional and will suffer!! Who cares if it's trying to kill your cat, those are disposable anyway to a lot of these people!

Pets aren't disposable, no. BUT. They are also not people or children. Having a pet is supposed to make someone's life better. If that isn't the case, then it's fine for the owners to return or rehome the animal to somewhere that is better for EVERYONE, including the animal themselves! Yes, there might be an adjustment period, but there always is with any new situation. A dog that was bought, found not to be a good fit, and returned to the breeder isn't going to go into a depressive spiral wondering why that home didn't work out and what's wrong with them. They're going to forget within a day or two that they were even anywhere else and go on with their life like it never happened, unless something crazy happened in that household that caused them genuine harm, like abuse.

It doesn't help animals when people humanize them. People who don't understand the differences between how animals think and how humans think are the ones who cause far more harm to animals than basically any other demographic - they're the ones that lure bears into human-populated areas by feeding them and getting them used to seeing humans as a food source, which results in their culling when they become dangerous. They're the ones who refuse to spay or neuter their pets, claiming it 'diminishes them' or 'takes away their choice to have a family', not understanding that animals don't *do* choices, they just follow instincts and they are contributing to major overpopulation problems that lead to a lot of suffering. They are the ones who say their cats will get bored if they're kept inside, and let their cats out where the cats themselves can get mauled, run over, shot, poisoned, or have any number of things happen to them - and where populations of birds will be decimated by them. None of you have ever heard of the fairy island wren because they were wiped out to the last bird by a single cat belonging to the lighthouse keeper. An entire species extinct, by one animal that wasn't killing for food or any kind of necessity.

Humanizing animals is the kind of thing people like Timothy Treadwell do - and get themselves and the animals they claim to care about killed for. It isn't smart, it isn't cute, and it doesn't benefit anyone. Animals are not people. They never have been, and probably never will be.

Went to an estate sale today and they had SO MUCH ORIGINAL DISNEY STUFF! California, USA

I was heartbroken to leave behind the animation cels (they had SO MANY, from Bambi, Fox and the Hound, Lady and the Tramp, and some of the princess movies) but they were too expensive, but I did at least snag some Lady and the Tramp figurines to keep my Gigi company.

They had Hidden Mickey furniture and a TON of old barbies and train stuff and all kinds of collectibles...name brand everything. Oh to have the money and space for that...

Suggestion for a way to display interesting notes

An item I think would be really neat would be the addition of a pinboard or other display item where people could post notes they've found that they think are interesting, or that fit the motif of their camp. People could look at the notes that are pinned up on them and read them, but not remove them, obviously.

It'd be a neat little bit of flavor and make those otherwise useless notes that just take up space serve a purpose!

Not sure how I feel about the "Love Monkey"

Thank you to the person who made this CAMP for the laugh (and the cheap plans! Also, I NEED THE TREES!!) But...I question the trailer with this...very....friendly gorilla. The guy talking about ghouls in his pajamas doesn't help! XD

I would've gotten more pics if I could, but we were running for our lives at that moment. But...my *gosh* that is a creepy effect! I wonder if you could get it to stay like that on purpose for spooky times.

While I do enjoy the game, there are a few adjustments I think could be easily made to just make a few things more streamlined.

A big one for me is that when you mouseover another player's CAMP and it shows what their vendor has - instead of just showing the number of plans in total, it should show the number of plans that vendor has that you don't already have learned. That way you don't waste your caps or time hopping from camp to camp looking for new plans, only to find them selling ones you already have learned.

Vendor Search: If there's a specific item or plan you're looking for, a search tool that lets you check if any of the player vendors on your map has it would be incredibly helpful.

Accessibility adjustments for minigames such as fishing: For me, my hands are very shaky so trying to catch the tougher fish is nearly impossible even with the mark 2 reel, and I have yet to catch a single axolotl after weeks of trying. If there were some options to help people who have various difficulties with the minigame design be able to handle it, that'd be very helpful for people like me who have reaction delays or issues with steady hands.

Less FOMO-based events and sales.

Your thoughts or suggestions?

She is indeed a spooky mama! Some bugs are annoying, but some are funny.

We'd just killed Earle, and he was bugging out bad - kept vanishing under the floor and popping up in short bursts so we had to keep shooting the ground.

Just something funny I came across today near the fisherman's place. On top of that crate by the text, there was a note instructing one how to use dynamite to fish. As you can see, there's a few blast marks here - a few sticks of dynamite in the box - and what's left of some poor sap who didn't throw it quick enough, I guess. At least his head didn't land in the water to get eaten, so we can still see his pretty face!

I love little touches and stories like this, it's just entertaining.
