But the "British ISA" idea was floated before. Would fellow HENRY's support the British ISA? £5k Tax free investment in UK businesses.
Would bring the ISA allowance up to £25k, but with restrictions. Personally I'm for it. Wondering what others think.

Am I crazy for going for the Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB paired with Ruark MR1 Mk3's as my first sound system?
I finally live in a place where I can start buying myself nice things! First step was a set of speakers I could use across my TV, Spotify and (soon to be purchased) record player.
After a bit of research I decided to splurge on the Ruark MR1 Mk3 (£399). However, the same store has the Mk2's available at a clearance price (£244).
Is the Mk3 such an improvement over the Mk2 to warrant the price difference? Or should I just go for the Mk3 in order to future proof myself? I've tried google but I'm having trouble deciding, so I'm looking for opinions from people who might have used both or upgraded from one to the other.

Today in the Westfield's Stratford car park I asked a family to pick up some paper wrappers and straws their teenage daughter dropped onto the floor. They mum asked them to pick it up, they did, then they walked around the corner and dropped it on the floor again before getting in their car.
The kids didn't care about littering, the parents didn't care that they were littering, and even when called out they continued to litter.
What can we do against these people?

Hi all - my mum is starting 32 days radiotherapy (plus 2 rounds chemo) for her throat cancer in about 10 days.
However, she's struggling so much right now. Can't eat, can't sleep, constantly in pain.
She has severe mental health issues and this has slowed down her treatment. At first she was misdiagnosed, then turned down treatment, and then eventually after accepting treatment demanded to be moved to a different hospital.
This has delayed treatment by at least a month and a half and the pain is now unbearable for her. The doctors have said that they're unable to prescribe anything further for her.
Can anyone here recommend something that might help her get through the next 10 days?
I ordered tonight, paid for express delivery, and instantly saw my expected delivery time increase by 25 minutes, then 40 minutes 5 minutes later. To make it worse, as soon as my order was collected my driver marked it as "delivered".
Two hours later, it still hasn't arrived. Customer service not helping.
What can I do to get my money back? Never using Uber again
