Walt Whitman
My favorite, and gay, poet. 18 hundredz. Haz Moz ever reference him? Maybe in his pre show videos? Or lyrics?

In the interview he bitched about Madonna. I think the interview and photo shoot were from another magazine. 2016~
City On Fire is the best christmas movie of all times. Prove me wrong.
My main problem with the episode is that it introduced a disc world, but it wasn't sitting on elephants atop Great A'Tuin, the turtle.
Morrissey produced by Trent Reznor. Adrian Belew on guitar.
The next hellboy movie should be an anthology; allowing different directors to work the different aspects of hellboy in separate segments.
AND I would love to see Robert Eggers do one of the segments. The more gothic horror one.
Sam Raimi would be great for a more splattery comedic one.
Wes Anderson's attention to color could work as well. Maybe in a stop motion bit?
Who else would you like to see do a segment?
Billy(William) Mackenzie's response to (Stephen) Morrissey's song.
Anyone else here vibing to all the various permutation of Mastelotto and Trey Gunn. Tu-Ner, Tuner, TU?
To me it's the direct offspring of the short Projekcts period and part of the KC multiverse.
Chiang Mai, Thailand, 1:10am. Stoned. Drunk on spiced rum. This is my jam tonight:
It smells of old cigarettes, cheap bourbon, and stale cologne.
Almost finished building up my Morrissey/Smiths discology -
What do you consider essential non album/rare/b-side singles that I might be missing, to my alas and alack both?
8 years ago I gave up on breakdown road, never 100% the game. Last week I finally got that moon, and today I finished Darker Moon, and Bowser's 2nd painting. All costumes. Level 50 on Luigi's balloons, all moons, all music, all locations.
So yeah. Done. :)
Was listening to this(very excellent) music history podcast about Frank Zappa and Hot Rats, when Lester Bangs shows up around the 2 hours mark! I actually didn't know before that he's a real person.
The beginning of S02E04(Brothers of the Broken Horn) has the best two gay dads disappointment scene for the cold open. PMW.
This would be the last of the ST shows I've never watch in any capacity(ENT and VOY, I still need to finish one day).
One episode in. I mostly liked it. Does anyone knows if someone might have done a modern edit on it?
I think the show would benefit a lot from snappier editing. Nothing too harsh, that will keeps meaningful moment of silence in, but still speed up some machine shots, overlong intros and outros, etc.
Will it still be a James Bond movie, if Bond doesn't seduce a woman for info, fucks her, and then leave her to die?
My friend asked me to explain 200 Motels before we watch it.
----
200 Motels is a 1971 opera about a contemporary rock and roll band going so insane while touring, with drugs(and lack thereof), with staying at boring Centerville (the mean average of all boring American small towns), with the literal devil, with local town groupies, and with the lack of beer, fame or money to get back home; that a government edict rules music to be wholly illegal, both for production and for consumption, commercial or not.
Experimental re-orientation facilities are constructed to turn musicians into useful members of society, and if that fails, there are concentration camps, or worse.
The musicians are to be lured to the re-education facilities with fake dick/breast enlargement ads.
This is all visually told in a stagy form, where the actors, musicians and performers interchange, and interact. Sets move. Stagehands can be regularly seen. The symphonic orchestra is made to sing an oratorio about dog-soup.
Ringo Starr appears as a guitarist, who's dressed like Larry The Dwarf who is dressed like Frank Zappa. The most sexist white man in history is sung as “Cowboy Burt”, but performed by a Native-American. Or as said in many other Zappa albums, “I’m Jimmy Carl Black, and I’m the Indian of the group". Keith Moon is a harp playing nun, while Theodore Bikel plays both the devil, and the presenter of the tv show that is inside of the band’s warped mind.
Their reality collapses upon itself, and the government drags them away to the camps. Bringing back some order and security to Amerika.
For a coda the whole cast sings a thank you anthem to all who worked on the production, especially as most of them are well unlucky to live in Britain, "and all of the food these people must eat".
Credits.
This is all shot and edited on some of the earliest video technology in history. The editor goes mad with rudimentary but very analog special effects. It’s not the tech we know from later commercial use of video as it’s still in its prototype phase.
Lets watch!
