Are there any? I really like the songs of AJJ, it sounds like the embodiment of old school American folk (i.e. Woody Guthrie, Phil Ochs) + punk, but I just can't find that kind of sound with the ripping acoustic guitar (or is it a banjo?) as well as the Electric Guitar and drums.

For the 3 weeks I binged watched the show it genuinely gave me a purpose to wake up and live.

I've heard that for marriage you need

- a wali
But is it possible to have a halal marriage without a wali?
What if two people want to perform nikah but the bride is at risk when telling a wali?
I believe that having a relationship with the opposite gender should be based off consent and a love for god. One should not be tied down by family members. If you do not agree with my standpoint and believe that a wali is needed for marriage, please explain your point of view.
I genuinely have trouble scrolling on there; YouTube Shorts has downgraded and degenerated into a cash cow. I'm currently writing this while my little sister scrolling in the background (pre-teen age, not a toddler), and oh my god is it insufferable. It all just AI narrating and movie clips with loud fast background music.
I wont be the one to say "oh screen no good for kid" or "attention span neurobabble under 25 subhuman incapable of thought" but DAMN, I "attempt" to go on there and in a span of 30 minutes it all degenerates into movie narrations and movie narrations and ai slop.
I feel as if YouTube Shorts is a degeneration and a SLANDERING of what YouTube is supposed to be, are we not going to talk about the predatory business practices and the algorithm?
I am sorry for ranting about YouTube Shorts, maybe I am getting to the ripe old age where I complain about "todays technology", but I genuinely think that the world would be better off without YouTube Shorts, or any kind of scrolling technology.
Yes, I do acknowledge that there are some very predatory and straight up evil things that a landlord can do, but some landlords can give reasonable rent. From an anarchist perspective, is it possible that there can there be a "good landlord"?
From my point of view, rent and landlording exist because of an uneven spreading of distribution of resources/money. Their only inherently bad trait is them hoarding the properties, everything else can be changed or bargained with. Is this the correct view?
