Some people just cannot be helped.

There is something profoundly dispiriting about watching finsubs read every warning, recognise themselves in every line, perhaps even agree that findom is hollow and destructive, and then walk straight back into it.

You can write about the wasted money, the manufactured intimacy, the post-nut disgust, the shame, the compulsive repetition. You can strip away the glamour until nothing remains but the transaction. And still, somewhere, someone is opening his banking app and preparing another tribute to a stranger who will have forgotten him by tomorrow.

Eventually, you realise that words cannot rescue someone determined to romanticise his own self-destruction. The cage can be described perfectly. The door can be left wide open. Some will still crawl back inside and call the bars beautiful.

The " dommes " as their " vanilla " selves.

Has anyone comes across their domme's vanilla social media ?

I came across an ex domme of mine on Facebook and what I saw shattered the image of her that I had created in my head.

The ick...

What are some of the cringiest things you've observed within findom circles ?

" dommes " posting pictures of themselves with their 5 ft 4, 75 lbs boyfriends and calling them " alpha" in the caption is one of the cringiest in my book. 🤡

Another contributing factor...

One thing that really opened my eyes and made me realise what a crock of sh*te findom is was how dommes would forget you existed when a sub who paid more came along. It took me a few of these " D/s relationships " to realise this, but I got there in the end after wasting a few thousands.

Did anyone else feel like this ?

Did anyone else here find the majority of the " dommes " emotionally vacant and intellectually r*t*rded to interact with ?

Pretty much every conversation would dry up after exchanging a few sentences.

God, I hate myself so much for wasting so much precious time ( and hard-earned cash !) interacting with these people.

The realisation!

I think one of the things that kinda opened my eyes was my experiences with some women on dating apps a while back.

On these apps, I realised that there are women out there who find me attractive and are interested in me as a human and I'm not the lowly loser of a man that I am made out to be by findommes.

Now, I'm not saying I'd hundreds of women swiping right on me, but there was enough to make me think " oh, hang on a minute! " if you know what I mean.

Professional domination...

Some argue that paying a professional dominatrix for sessions is a much better alternative to findom, but my argument is that it is something that still comes at a pretty hefty cost and can be as addictive as findom.

If you think about it, the average hourly fee for professional domination sessions is anywhere between £150 and £200 here in Britain.

So, say, you session with a pro domme once every two months or so to scratch the itch, so to speak, right?

That's something within the neighbourhood of £300 and £400 that you could have put towards something more meaningful.

I don't know... maybe it's just me, but I just don't see the value of spending any money in any way on such things anymore.

the way I see it £400 is a decent weekend away in Amsterdam or something or a bit of money that you can put towards improving or decorating your house.

I don't know...

The good ol' delusion that keeps them trapped in.

" But, I have a great connection with my domme though and she cares about me. "

This is the most schizophrenic thing that I hear subs say.

Occasional stiffness experienced when changing gears ( 2005 vvti Toyota Corolla-UK model )

Hi, folks,

I was wondering if you could help me figure my situation out !

So, about two months ago, I'd my Toyota Corolla's gearbox oil and driveshaft seal changed and ever since I have been experiencing this intermittent and occasional stiffness when shifting into 2nd from 1st and sometimes into 3rd from 2nd.

This issue isn't a constant thing that appears to go away after I have been on the road for about 30 mins - 35 mins.

Also, there is NO crunching, grinding, popping or any other harsh noises produced when shifting gears.

Double-clutching seems to make transitioning smoother as well and I couldn't seem to see any signs of leakage anywhere under the vehicle.

In terms of the clutch, the biting point is halfway up and my rpm is at 1400 / 1500 when doing 30 mph and at around 3200 when doing 70 on the motorway. So, there's no slipping there either as far as I can tell.

The vehicle is a 2005 vvti 1.4L Toyota Corolla ( UK model ) that has done 78500 miles on the clock and is serviced regularly.

Sparring

How do you guys deal with people that go full-on while sparring?

I don't wanna come across a soft arse by telling them to bring it down a notch, but there's been times when I've been tempted to close the gap and bring them with either a judo uchi-mata throw or an osoto-gari throw!

Ratha-Yatra...

I have this theory whereby this Ratha-Yatra festival thingy has its roots in the native Dravidian population of Indian throwing themselves at the chariots of the Aryan conquerors as they saw them as god-like beings ( due to their technological advances). The Dravidians probably thought they could be blessed by the god-like men (Aryan Brahamin) if they did such a thing...

So, basically, it is quite possibly an ancient humiliation ritual that has its roots in the racial caste system of ancient India.

Did anyone else notice?

Did any of you notice that ISKCON temples as well as other Hindu temples have increasingly become socialising and networking spots for Indian immigrants while you were involved?

I always knew that it was an ethno-religion at its core ( despite ISKCON claiming and making it out to be otherwise), but towards the end it was very much in my face. 😅😅😅😅

?

One of the claims that the ISKCON lot make , amongst many of their other claims, is that Guru Nanak met Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and was massively impacted by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, so much so that he adopted aspects of Vaishnaivaism and incorporated them into Sikhi.

I have looked into this and aside from ISKCON and some ISKCON-adjacent Vaishnaiva sources there are no other sources to prove or disprove this claim.

Has anyone else here heard this and looked into it?

I'm personally very dubious and suspicious of ISKCON's claims about historical figures and their connection to Vaishnaivaism and the wider Hindu sphere to be honest.

▲ 12 r/Welding

Welding job on my 2005 Corolla.

So, a couple of days ago the welding on the top part of one of the rear turrets on my Corolla, which was done about a year ago, cracked and snapped.

This welding job was part of reconstructing the top section of the turret, which had rusted a bit.

Do you guys think this is something that can be repaired and salvaged ?

My mechanic has advised that it would need reinforcing and doing with the proper type of welding gas and materials.

Also, I have attached plenty of pictures which show how the inside of the boot actually looks.

What d' you think?

Thanks, 🙂
