Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone has experienced something similar or can offer some advice.

At the beginning of June, I booked an orthodontic consultation and paid £50 over the phone using my Lloyds Bank Visa debit card. As soon as the payment was taken, my available balance went down by £50.

The problem is that the payment has never appeared in my transaction history. There is no merchant name, no pending transaction, nothing at all.

I later requested a refund because I cancelled my consultation, and the orthodontist said they processed it already into the same card the deposit was taken from. They even sent me a PayPal receipt showing the payment was refunded in full. However, it’s now been over three weeks and I still haven’t received the refund.

I have contacted the orthodontics and they said I should contact PayPal, I contacted PayPal and they said I should contact my bank, I also contacted my bank and they said I should contact PayPal🫩 there's literally no trace of the refund anywhere
