Moleskin gift smart pen won't charge after fully dying

Hey all. I was gifted this model 3 Moleskin pen (the one with the magnetic charger) by a friend who used it prior. She confirmed it worked, but hadn't been used in a while. The thing won't charge. It has the original charger but no lights come on. I read online if it's been dead for a while so it might need a gender less USB to kick start but can't find where to purchase what I need. It has been on the charger for 48 hours. Has anyone had this issue and what steps did you take?

Please help me find a good digital painting video that doesn't insult the watcher.

I draw a lot but have never had any painting tutorials. I want to step into painting and find a comprehensive video with steps. However every video I find does the following:

  1. calls the user a baby multiple times, causing me to feel like i'm too old to learn to paint and give up
  1. just says lights and shadows but doesn't explain
  2. says brushes don't matter but then says they use a specific brush only that they don't share.

I have been on youtube for weeks looking for a video that doesn't make me feel like an idiot while actually teaching me painting practices.

Does anyone have good videos for painting? Thanks in advance!

A grand to get my ipad looked at under apple care?

I have an Ipad pro that's about a year and half old. I took it to best buy as we do not have an apple store near by and the apple care website said to take it there. They said to ship it off to get it looked at (it dies within like 3 hours of 100% charge) would cost a grand. What? It wasn't damaged by me and it's being paid for every month. If i make the drive to apple will they still charge me a grand without looking at it? I'm so confused why I even pay for apple care.

A traditional notepad that translates my notes to a word document

like... I have terrible hand writing but my classes require no computers. Is there a notebook or something I can put a notebook in that would recognize what I have written and make the notes digital?

Can't think

Having a hard time thinking. I zone out if I have to pay attention for more than 5 minutes. I'm not sure if this is an effexor side effect. I can't complete complex tasks without zoning out. I'm on 75 milligrams for about 3 months now and have never had attention or thinking problems like this before. I start law school next month and I dont think I can do it like this. Please help me- is this normal? Will it go away? I can't think.

more info: i've never felt like this before and I hate it. my anxiety and depression symptoms are gone but I can't string two thoughts together.

question: if i quit the medicine will my brain function come back? being depressed was awful but i cant do my job or school like this.

The reason every video game announcement is called bad is because not every game is made for you.

***GAME ANNOUNCEMENT SPOILERS***

With State of play, Microsoft, Nintendo Direct, and Summer games fest being in the past 2 weeks I think I can say this now.

For me, nothing interested me in SGF. It was fine, it just was not for me. My partner, however, is glowing over Code Veronica remake.

I personally cried over a new Spyro announcement, it was the highlight of my month. No one else I know cared and called the direct good except a few announcements like that.

As a non RPG enjoyer, today's Nintendo direct had a lot of content for me. I'm thrilled over Rhythm Heaven Groove, Pokopia, Orbitals, and a new Zelda Remake.

Yet every comment I see for every one of these was

"wow this sucks because this direct had too many RPGs"

or

"Wow another x game"

Yes, there are better directs than others but people cannot get out of their own ass about everything being made for them. And frankly, I think it is part of the reason the gaming space gets such a bad rep. I'm so annoyed every time.

Video gaming is actually pretty fun if you're not a jerk.

Please help- Thought I picked the right dress but received negative feedback.

Never thought I would be making one of these. Fell in love with this one dress and loved it so much but bought this other dress today due to price and also liking it. I still can't stop thinking about the dress I didn't buy but also liked the one I did. Was told that I made a terrible mistake and should have bought another dress. I can still fix it and honestly I sort of do regret not buying the first dress even though I love the other. What should I do? I am wracked with anxiety.

edit: bought dress 1, regret not buying dress 2

Making RSVP post cards- how would you phrase this?

I have issues sometimes with clear wording as we are on the spectrum. How would you indicate on a post cards a section to leave a special message or well wishes in a few words? Post card for reference

edit: i understand yall don't like the font im not changing it as it looks really good printed, im just asking for help with ONE word choice due to issues communicating instructions sometimes. 😭

Where to commission a painter

I am trying to commission 2 paintings of us for our ceremony that is upcoming next year. As an artist, I detest AI but every time I look it's all Ai slip. I am hoping to commission a traditional artist. I am not looking for a live wedding painter. Has anyone had any success with this? Where on earth do I look those days?

Thanks!
