Bore Alignment Rod Is Touching My End Cap, Problem or Normal?

I recently picked up a Henry H010X in .45-70 and added a SilencerCo Hybrid 46M using a quick-attach mount secured with Rocksett. This is my first venture into the NFA world, so I'm trying to do everything the right way.

After doing a lot of research, I saw that many people recommend using a bore alignment rod before firing to make sure there won't be an end cap or baffle strike. I bought a carbon fiber alignment rod from Accuracy Solutions.

It arrived today, and I was surprised by how tight it fits in the barrel. It goes in about 2 inches and then becomes extremely snug. If I rotate it, it actually seems to shave a little carbon fiber off the rod.

When I check alignment with the suppressor installed, the rod appears to lightly touch one side of the end cap. If I rotate the rod, it still touches the same side. I've rolled the rod on a table and it appears perfectly straight. I've also removed the suppressor and checked the quick-attach mount, and everything looks concentric and flush.

Now I'm a little concerned. Could the rod be the issue? Could there be a problem with the mount? Or am I overthinking this and should just send it?

The suppressor and mount setup cost me around $1,200, so I'd really like to avoid destroying it with the first shot.

Has anyone run into something similar with a Henry H010X, Accuracy Solutions rods, or the Hybrid 46M? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Keep getting an error trying to add the picture, so here's a link to it.

Depressing Change

I refreshed one of my Synology's back in October and paid $319 per 14TB WD Gold drive after tax. I was curious what they'd cost today and nearly fell out of my chair, those same drives are now listed at $754.99 each.

At the price I paid, filling the NAS was expensive enough. At today's pricing, replacing the same set of drives would cost well over $3,000. Glad I bought it when I did.
