Does your IC make the entire area feel raw?

Trying to figure out if my symptoms are IC or not. I often feel like my entire vagina is raw or burning, like I have a yeast infection or a rash of some sort, but then I take Uristat and the entire area feels better.
Does your IC cause your entire vagina to have a raw feeling EXTERNALLY? I don’t even wear underwear most days…

Pelvic Pain Specialist and Microbiome

I went to a pelvic pain specialist who has lots of experience with vaginal pain and seemed very knowledgeable.
She told me that she doesn’t think that the microbiome actually causes pain.

I had an Evvy test that showed that I have very little lactobacilli; I have been struggling with either vulvar burning or urethral burning (I can’t tell where the pain is coming from) for a year——-did anyone actually have this much pain coming simply from their microbiome being off?

I was really hoping that increasing my lactobacilli would stop the burning.

did vaginal probiotic suppositories actually help your pain level?

Any help learning from your experiences would be so appreciated!

Uristat Long Term

I know that Uristat isn’t supposed to be for long term use, but it’s the only thing that helps my urethral burning.
I assume many people in this sub are in the same boat. How often do you take it/how often can I take it?
Are there any alternatives that ARE safe for long term use?
I’m so miserable and just cannot handle the pain!

Vulvar Biopsy Logistics Questions

Hi all!
I’m looking for anyone who has had experience with a vulgar biopsy for chronic vulvar burning. With chronic burning issues, one of the secondary painful elements is chronic nerve sensitivity, given the constant activated pain state.

With my current situation, I can sometimes get the burning to abate for a few days and have some relief before the burning returns. These pain-free moments are crucial for my mental sanity, as I know some of you on this board with similar burning issues can relate to!
I’m wondering if those of you who had the biopsy were in pain after the procedure—-I am just terrified that the biopsy will cause an even worse nerve flair.

Also

  1. did you get a punch or scrape biopsy?
  2. were you allowed to use creams or soothing gels on the area after? My OBGYN told me you can’t use anything on the outside after!
  3. was it a dermatologist or a gynecologist that did the biopsy? I thought that OBs did them, but saw something on TikTok about a woman going to her derm?
  4. is there a chance of the biopsy area not scabbing over and leading to pain for weeks??
  5. did you have a stitch or no stitch? I’ve been reading that a stitch helps healing, but some doctors seem to do it without…

Thank you so much in advance

Does anyone have photos of the new Creami Swirl GOLD color? Or, thoughts?

I am about to finally buy a Ninja Creami Swirl, and before I make the investment, was wondering if anyone had a photo of how the “Stone and Gold” option looks, as opposed to the classic “Platinum Silver”.
I was thinking that it might have less visual weight in the kitchen BUT, when I’ve tried to look up videos on TikTok, the color looks SO different in every single photo!

Also, would the darker color hide mess better, or maybe the light would?
Any thoughts or photos would be so greatly appreciated!

Only 3 100pt options and 2 250? I haven’t seen it this empty in years!

Does anyone else find this unusual?
