Thank you to everyone who's helped me over the years and especially u/spinachpants when I was getting started in 2021. It's been a great ride, and this community is so helpful. And thanks also to u/Napstar (who I think is a Nintendo employee) for the ranking tables which I refer to every tour.

(Motorway) driving etiquette

Many roads have a short run up to merge with the main road. In the UK, one flash means please go ahead. How do you tell people to go? Also, how do you say thank you? In the UK this is flash the hazard lights for a second or two. But here, hazards are only for zomg traffic, please slow down and don't crash into meeeeeee. Thanks! help with calling 3.5 API calls

Hi there. i've built a script that calls the Gemini API and asks a series of prompts. these are saved in a CSV. I've got it to work with ChatGPT, but with Gemini, I can only get it to work with 3.1 Flash Lite.

The error i'm getting is:
Transient provider error (503 UNAVAILABLE. {'error': {'code': 503, 'message': 'This model is currently experiencing high demand. Spikes in demand are usually temporary. Please try again later.', 'status': 'UNAVAILABLE'}})

so this 503 error - is it just because America is awake? have i done something wrong? I have it set to retry 4 times with increasing gaps between tries, but no dice. Any tips? thanks!

Hi everyone! just found out about the whole process for getting an app listed, and would love your help. Very happy to test any other apps as well in return.

I'm just a random who thought that it was time that chess had special moves, and as chess originated in India, I've added ancient gods and demons from there to the game. As you take pieces, you unlock moves. Sadly it's not multiplayer yet, because I don't have the coding, time, or money to make that happen. But I do have 2 fun modes, a daily puzzle and a local 1 v 1 with a friend.
