The 460 class was a pioneer of its time. With remarkable acceleration, central heating, doors controlled by the driver and comfortable seats, the “Pantograph” server from 1970s well until 2023, when the class was retired and all units expect 460 044/043 were scrapped. The only survivor now belongs to a heritage railway which operates in narrow gauge and organizes railtours like this one.

V minulom príspevku ste ma vybučali za to, že som sa sťažoval na vyradenie Pantografov. Ale panstvo, premýšľajme. Hlavne že nikomu z vás nevadí, že trate ešte Brežneva pamätajú. Máme trate z roku 1970, ale mašiny z roku 2030 by sme chceli. Načo nám je Stadler KISS ktorý zvládne 200, keď trať nedovolí viac než 100? Češi sú v tomto super... renovujú staré mašiny (754 na 750.7), a keďže majú dosť peňazí nazbyt (keďže ich neminuli na jednotky ktoré Nemcko závidí), môžu obnovovať trate a infraštruktúru. U nich jazdia vozne B, bez klímy, a sťažuje sa niekto? Idú si po koridore 140 a nič zlé nie je. Aká trať také mašiny, taký je môj názor. Zbytočne kupujeme stroje budúcnosti na trate minulosti.

This loco is a renovated variant of the 163 class, designed for higher speeds. It is now being replaced by Vectron locomotives, and pushed into local service. This piece is used for spare parts now:
Každý z nás si pamätá túto súpravu. Na západe ste mali 560 v červenom nátere, u nás 460. Pohodlné sedadlá, rýchly rozjazd a brzdenie, tichá jazda, aj keď brzdenie trochu hlučné je. Ale vraj je hlučný, starý a smrdí. Na týchto súpravách som jazdil od roku 2015 a poviem vám, figu borovú! Pri jazde je tichá ako myš, len brzdy škriekajú. Starý? A čo? Okno sa otvorí, ochladí sa do minúty. Klímu netreba. Smrdí? Hovno, jedine keď niekto nechá náklad na toalete. Bola to dobrá súprava. Ale ľudia si tak spohodlneli že im toto je zlé. Dnešné regionálne vlaky majú tvrdé sedadlá kde drevení zadok. Tieto tu? Mäkké čalúnené gauče doslova. Proste ma to serie, že ich vyradili…
