How many cases did you need to do to pass the interview process?

I hear all sorts of numbers out there, ranging from 3-5 cases to 100+ to feel prepared and ace the interviews. What was your experience?

Aren’t some people also just more naturals and have it easier vs. others who could do cases back to back and still struggle?

Does it lose effectiveness if you stop for a month?

I read that Reta loses effectiveness if you stop for a while and hop back on. Is there any truth to that?

For context, I’ve been on it since December but my latest order has not arrived yet and probably won’t for another week. That puts me at a 4 week break I had to take off of it. I definitely feel hungrier and gained quite a bit of water weight so I’m a little worried that it may not work as good anymore. I was on 5-6 mg/weekly

How bad is the water retention/bloating after stopping?

I’m currently on a break and note noticed that on Reta, my stomach is super flat even at the end of the day vs. now I have a visible belly already mid-day. I am also super puffy in the mornings and generally just feel swollen.

Is that just a result of eating more and normal during the transition phase, or do we get used to “looking dry” on Reta so the switch is more pronounced? I actually hoped to eventually stop once I reach my goal weight, but now I’m debating on just staying on a low dose due to the water retention.

How bad is the water retention/bloating after stopping?

I haven’t been able to take Reta for 2 weeks and won’t for another 5-6 days due to delays in shipping. I’ve noticed getting my appetite back but I actually like it since I eat balanced healthy food and have more energy again. Besides the 3 pound weight gain on the scale, I have noticed though that I am so much more bloated. On Reta, my stomach would be flat even at the end of the day vs. now I have a visible belly already mid-day. I also looked like I cried all night whenever I wake up because my face is swollen too.

Is that just a result of eating more and normal during the transition phase, or do we get used to “looking dry” on Reta so the switch is more pronounced?

Did you influence anyone in your close circle to take Reta?

Reta has been an absolute life changer for me and I strongly believe that it would be for other people in my life too, especially my parents. Knowing them tho, they’d never ever be okay with injecting a foreign substance off of the grey market, which I completely get. I still feel kinda bad that they’re not able to benefit from it the way I did and I was wondering if any of you were able to convince people to take Reta for their own health.

I’m thinking of just getting them prescription Triz (my dad is in his sixties and already takes Metformin for insulin resistance) which is obviously more expensive but if it makes them feel safer, it’s the better option, right?

How do you guys feel about Germans being obsessed with moving to Switzerland?

I’m German myself and have noticed that in recent years, Switzerland is almost seen as this place that’s gonna save all Germans that are unhappy here. It’s mostly well off people who are genuinely considering moving, but the talk is there from all sides. If I didn’t know any better it’s say they’re fetishizing the land lol

Have you guys noticed an influx of Germans that are relocating to Switzerland? How do you feel about it and their general attitude towards Germany vs. Switzerland? I’m wondering if they’re as vocal there as they’re here. And I know the general attitude towards and Germans but I’m wondering if anything changed based on your experiences.

To me as someone that appreciates Switzerland but is not interested in moving there, these people are as annoying the German Jürgen that moved to Thailand and swears that everything is better there while being obsessed with his German identity. It’s just kinda weird and borderline like a weird kink they have

How can I build a rounder upper glute/shelf?

F26, 5'5", 116 Ibs, left is relaxed, right is flexed

I've been lifting consistently for a few years now, but I still don't really like how my glutes look unless I'm flexing or have a pump.

I feel like I'm pretty lower-glute dominant, and even though l've been trying to focus more on my glute medius/shelf for about a year I don't feel like I've made much progress. My overall shape just feels kind of flat, deflated with no definition and I feel like I have no transition from my back to my butt.

Right now I do two glute days a week, but I'm open to changing my program completely if needed. My current split looks like this:

Day 1 / Day 2
Hip thrusts / glute bridges
Hack squats / RDLs
Back extensions / Bulgarian split squats
Cable kickbacks / Hip abductions

I'Il say that my single leg strength is absolutely terrible and I also don't directly work on growing my legs, but I'm open to change it.

Would really appreciate any advice or suggestions on what I could change or focus on!

How can you tell if someone is interested vs. just being professional?

I’m a student working in a lab and I’ve developed a bit of a crush on one of the postdocs. We haven’t really talked one on one yet since our research areas don’t overlap, so most of our interaction is just being in the same group settings, occasional eye contact and watching each other from a distance.

I’m trying to figure out whether someone in his position would even show clear signs of interest in this kind of environment and how to tell the difference between mild interest/hesitation versus no interest at all.

From what I’ve noticed, he seems social and talkative with others but not really with me. He doesn’t usually greet me in the mornings (kinda weird since everyone greets each other at our lab and he also greets others), but I do catch him looking at me sometimes and holding eye contact if I look back.

Since it’s a lab setting, it’s also hard to read too much into proximity or being around since that’s usually work-related. He’s also almost always with other colleagues, so there’s not much chance to observe him in a neutral context.

I’m just wondering if I’m over-interpreting normal professional behaviour, or if there are any realistic ways to read interest (or lack of it) in a situation like this.

spoiler: weight loss apparently makes people feel entitled to comment on your body like it’s public property!!

F26, 5’5, SW 176 lbs (Dec 18, 2025) CW 123 lbs (Jun 5, 2026)

I was always someone that thought that weight loss would fix a majority of my issues and that once I get to where I wanna be, I would be way happier. Now that I’m pretty much close to my goal weight and slowly transitioning into recomp, I’m here to tell you that that’s definitely not the case, no matter how much you think that you are the exception (because I did too).

The thing that’s been bothering me the most is that everyone now feels entitled to comment on my body.

My family constantly tells me I’m too skinny and that I look sick (I’ve even been compared to a heroin addict by my sister). It’s not just family either. My therapist commented on it multiple times too and kept asking why I was “so skinny” now (I’m in therapy for social anxiety, so I don’t really see why my weight would be a discussion point). Then today I got a deep tissue massage and the massage therapist started commenting on my body too. She asked if I’d lost weight, then told me she could tell I wasn’t working out (which isn’t even true) and started talking about loose skin and how it “doesn’t look good.”

Nobody seems capable of keeping any of these thoughts to themselves. To this day, nobody has ever asked me about my health, about how I feel about my weight loss, if I’m happier or what has changed for me. It’s always just superficial stuff about how bad I look now.

Maybe I’m extra sensitive to it because I’m not completely happy with my body yet myself, but honestly I’m getting tired of being analyzed by everyone I meet.

When I was overweight, I actually felt safer in my body. Looking back, I probably wasn’t hiding anything as well as I thought I was, but at the time it felt like I could disappear into my clothes and control how much of myself people saw. It was also all I ever knew and nobody bothered to comment on it. Now I feel exposed all the time, even though I haven’t changed how I dress, I’m still me and weight loss hasn’t been what I thought it’d be.
