my sim was watching the alien channel and I realized I don't recognize any of the furniture, especially the vintage tube tv (which I would love to have!!) and that fridge and lamp & desk etc I don't think any of this stuff is in the game? I think I also see a crock pot in the background??

Her name's Madame Fortune because she's a fortune teller & that's her stage name but I can't believe out of all my sims she's the one I finally win the lotto on!! I was playing my alien sim at the time but immediately swapped to that household to see the funds, unfortunately she didn't get the special moodlet but hey she's rich now!
All the fishing spots work as far as I've played them! Each post is from one of the main game packs so you can pretty much catch everything here. I made it a small business venue so my sim can run it as a business for all day fishing passes. gallery ID: TheDReno
the tv & vanity are functional!! jury's out on the fireplace because it's currently summer in my game and I don't want my poor sim to suffer 😂 (tree & hot cocoa are there for vibes) my biggest challenge right now is landscaping because I'm just not good at that and the outside looks ugly af
I finally finished it!! A central market house reminiscent of many across Amish country (and some of the upscale ones in the big cities like Chelsea Market in NYC). I've been playing with it for a few days and each booth is usable for its intended purpose. As a Community Market, I've seen townies use all open tables with the exception of the Selvadorada table for some reason. And nocc!

Whether a MG2 adaptation or a new story set between PP-MG2, exploring the compound with modern graphics would be amazing. If this franchise could get anything new that's definitely my monkey's paw game.
To try and cut things short, I bought a house a few years ago and let family live with me, including my younger brother who is bipolar. The idea was to mainly help my two brothers save up enough money to comfortably move out.
I love my younger brother and he never had an outburst aside from the occasional shouting or door slamming during stressful times. Well this week out of the blue he attacked my older brother at the crack of dawn, scaring us all out of bed and once that altercation settled down, he locked himself in his room shouting he should kill himself. Obviously we took that threat seriously and called the police. They got him out of his room and, against my better judgement (I wasn't present for this), my older brother chose not to file a police report against him. That's obviously his choice but I let him know I would have handled it completely differently. And just like that the cops deemed him not a threat and referred us to social services for further evaluation. It took us all day to get to someone reasonable in the phone and they said he needs to voluntarily walk in the clinic for evaluation. Thankfully we were able to persuade him to go and now has a social worker.
But I no longer feel completely safe in my own house because of this. I want him to move out and I don't know how to tell him as sensitively as possible, especially when he's at least doing the right thing for now. I've even considered selling my house even though I don't want to. I want him gone.
I'm so happy to finally utilize the new community market lot type since royalty & legacy came out. I LOVE the central farmer's markets all around Pennsylvania, especially the architecture of them many of which are repurposed warehouses & factories. I'm taking inspiration from some of my favorites and also of course Chelsea market in NYC. I'm not much of a builder but I've been watching a lot of tutorials, this is my first big build from scratch so if anyone has any suggestions or pointers I'd be grateful to hear it!
