Dinner with my nephews from last month. Been baby sitting them (ages 9 and 10) this wk since their camp ended and school starts in two wks and I wfh. Literally like 10 mins ago, the 9 yr old just choked on his breakfast, my life flashed before me bc I knew I couldnt let anything happen to him. Had to basically Heimlich him and give him water. Then text my sister. Ive never been that fearful in my life beside when I was a kid and had to save myself from drowning. Now I am full of anxiety and wanna throw up.
Are there any virtual book clubs where everyone reads their own book that meet via Zoom or something once a month and everyone discusses the book their reading. Everyone isnt reading just the same one book. Idk if this even exists? Yet to find something like this locally.
Have been on two Princess cruises but going on my first Carnival Cruise in November and slowly buying items before then.
On Princess you use medallions and it’s recommended to have something similar to an apple watch to hold the medallions. Ive read on Carnival you use your cards and I just bought some waterproof lanyards - which I wouldve not known until I joined groups.
I will be buying a small popup laundry hamper and beach bag. We also take a fan, reusable water bottles, various medications in case, and an outlet power strip.
We will have a drink package, internet package, and doing two excursions (sea turtles on the beach and food tasting and museum in Merida). We also have travel insurance. We are staying in an ocean view room.
Anything I should know, be aware of, or recommended to bring? We may do laundry, do you need pods or liquid detergent?
Came back from vacation + traveling for work and had to buy groceries. Ended up with some duplicates of the cheese, turkey sausage, and chicken tenders since I ordered on the way home. Oh wellll.

Seeing everyone mention the BCBS settlement made me curious, as I submitted my claim in 2021 and received an email that my claim was received and a claim number. I actually never received anything else after via email (including spam) or mail. When I plug in my claim number on the website I receive this notification:

Valid – This claim is valid and will be included in the distribution calculation. You were sent a notice explaining how you could review your premiums online.
I guess because I never received any other info, is it that I just am not receiving any payout?
