Blending Bronzer when you have fine, thin hair?
Okay, this one is hyperspecific. I'm currently doing some research on finding a new bronzer. Looking at several powder, balm, liquid formulas. I go for an ultra-natural, glowy/dewy base and I like the bronzer to look natural, sun-kissed and diffused. I had picked up the Saie Sun Melt Cream Bronzer during the Sephora Sale because I liked how it swatched in store and, unlike the Makeup by Mario Skin Enhancer Cream Bronzer, the Saie had shades in my range that were warm vs. Mario's which were too cool on my medium/tan complexion.
Anyway, what I've since discovered is that the formulation of the Saie Sun Melt Cream Bronzer is too... stiff.. for lack of a better term to blend out seamlessly. So, I'm exploring other options and will be swatching some soon. The stiffness of the Saie product also highlighted something annoying for me, specifically, as someone with thin and fine hair. It was challenging to be able to blend that Saie product into the very front of the hairline. So, as a result, my scalp was looking paler than my forehead and temples. This is getting empasized by having fine/thin hair where more of my scalp peeks through than I'd like.
So, there must be folks on here in the same boat... with fine/thin hair. Any tips on what to look for on bronzer formulations to ensure they're easier to blend into the hairline (without ruining your hair, too?) I suppose it helps that I have very dark (almost black) hair. Imagine this would be more challenging for people with fair colored hair. I apply bronzer with a big fluffy bronzer brush.
I have normal/leans dry skin and my makeup bases are usually light coverage, glowy/dewy skin tints like Glossier, Summer Fridays, Armani Golden Hour. I definitely don't go for any matte products.
