Since Nagash has its own faction can he not Confederate vampire and tomb kings?
Just wondering. I guess more "force confederate" tomb kings since they hate his ass

I clearly made some mistakes but i do feel like this is an insanely tough matchup: beornings vs rivendell 800pts.
I have Beorn +10 beornings, Grimbeorn + 10 beornings. He has Elrond + 10 knights, Glorfindel + 9 knights. Essentially 19 elven bows on horse.
Scenario was retrieval. He deployed close to the middle, i deployed Beorn close to the middle and Grimbeorn to defend with beornings behind a wall. I guess that was my first mistake i should have swapped them in deployment, problem is Grim has Fv7 which is not great in this case. My only choice was to get to the objective with Beorn to take it and make a wall of beornings while he dashes back towards my own. He takes two turns of shooting, i have D4 on my men so you can guess what 19 shots do even with in the ways. I get his objective while he keeps himself away enough to be able to charge but still shooting and my major mistake was thinking that the objective marker would stop him from getting into Beorn. He tags my beornings and manages to get in contact with Glorfindel (how is he only 180 points on a hero mount).
We strike, we match, he has something like 15 rerolls and long story short i lose every rolloff move and duel for the rest of the game and i get tabled and i only take out 3 knights.
I made a couple of mistakes but it felt unwinnable... He told me i should have camped inside a ruin but i told him my objective is outside my reach and he can snatch it while on horse because expert rider and light objects.
Oh also i didn't have any bows because i don't have models with them, i thought about it a bunch but other than maybe taking down one or two extra knights he would have changed nothing, he would still have shot them same as the two handed ones.
Title is a bit dramatic but according to any tournament i've seen, Depts with Bog is one of the worst now. At least the worst that were being played before.
Was the nerf deserved? Absolutely yes. But now i can finally say without people pushing be back that the Balrog isn't as good a profile as it should be. Goblins are now the fodder they're meant to be but Bog gets bogged down and nothing else can carry it to victory.
I want to be able to toggle a button and full send it through my lines, maybe with morale penalty from friendly units hit by their own. No more tentative shooting through expendable bodies, i have a full magazine and my finger is glued to the trigger.
It just says "resin". I'm not super familiar with GW's materials so i just know plastic is good.
I really like the model but i've heard finecast is doo doo and warps.
While Azhog is on top, can you call a heroic move using the warg's might? Anything else?
I don't know what it's called but I've seen people use it online it looks handy
5 days ago i bought 2 boxes of hunter orcs and one of warg riders and what does GW do? Announce a battlehost with everything i needed lol
I have to say the Mirkwood battlebox makes no sense, why would anyone have that many palace guards? And mirkwood rangers are pretty bad too...
I'm not a pro nor an expert, just a player who can manage his own that's about it but as far as i can tell, the faster the weapon, the better it is. More procs, more crits, faster clear...
If i'm wrong let me know but except for 420 blaze greatsword nothing i've tried stuck as much as faster smaller weapons
In GW's store they don't say it but the heroes are resin, yet the hunter orcs appear when i filter for plastic only.
If the line of sight can be calculated from the head of the Blarog to use his whip, it doesn't matter that he has 3 rows of friendly goblins in front as long as he can fully see the target 8" away right? No in the ways required?
In my opinion making the map wide banner a single turn just makes the whole ability forgettable.
When other armies can have it every two turns like Gundabad, I would gladly drop it and make the Balrog a 6" banner, since the main issue pre nerf was having a Goblin only army with a constant mapwide banner.
Even googling about it doesn't clear my confusion about this system
I 3D printed mine but no luck finding good prawlers alternatives I had to pretty much assemble them in Blender using different parts.
GW's are metal and only 6 per box which is annoying since I need 15.
Ps: if anyone has found a good proxy stl I would appreciate it, no haggered 3d scan
Never done this and when i'm with my friends, just rolling has ended up with some ridiculously one sided matches.
Does one player roll for 3 pools, each ban one and then roll a d3 for the scenario? Or first roll all 3 scenarios and then ban?
This is purely based on what i played or played against, so i'm definitely missing a ton of lists i never experienced. I'm not here pretending to know how to balance things i'm just throwing ideas around.
My thoughts are "probably not", 75 pints is a weirdly high cost in general for something that can be removed so easily. It's a captain + 5 goblins worth of points.
18" banner is super good, most cases it covers the whole army, the list having lost the mapwide banner the whole game, it would make up for it. And for one turn, you can turn elves into orcs in terms of courage.
I will bring one in Durburz and Druzhag list for sure.
I feel like it's the third time i find myself asking here how this works because i could just take the rules literally, but my inquisitive brain wants to be sure.
Fiery Lash just says "a model hit". It doesn't say infantry or 25mm base model. So i can yank a Mumak?
Also what happens when i use it on a cavalry model? Do i hit the in the way for horse/rider? And if the horse dies do i still move the rider?
Same as Watcher tbh. So in short, can i play Pinball with a Mumak? But more seriously can i turn the Mumak any way i want when i reposition it? The rule says "as chosen by the Balrog’s controlling player"
Don't Gondor lists already have good archer options?
Why does it need to be strength 7? Why is it only 60 points? Why is it a light object? (no, for real tho)
With around 30 points of crew it's just silly. Try shutting one down if terrain doesn't fully cover your units is so obnoxious. And bringing 2 is pretty common
Usually the same effect cannot stack and i'm fine with that but are you telling me that in Depths of Moria drums of the deep doesn't stack with the harbinger of evil of the Blarog? What's the point of it then? Only pop the mapwide banner one time use when the enemy is broken and away from the Balrog? Meh. Also now we can have the drum with yet another effect that doesn't stack?
