Missing item refund request denied

I ordered an rtx 5070, the amazon box it shipped with was in good condition but the graphics card box felt suspiciously light. I noticed a seal was broken and the graphics card was not inside the box. I contacted customer service and got a refund started but a few hours later I get an email saying my request was denied. I submitted an appeal but I’m curious as to how likely my appeal is to be accepted. Should I do a chargeback from my bank?

Edit: just contacted customer support and I guess the refund is still going through and my account isn’t suspended or anything. The email I received was just so stupidly vague.

I hate this algae

This algae sucks, it covers everything and is hella hard to remove. Scrubbing with a toothbrush doesn’t even remove it from the rocks.

Just upgraded my co2 system from a diy one to a co2 cartridge system so hopefully I can get more consistent co2 delivery.

Also here to show off my tank

Edit: bought a phosphate test today and it was at 2ppm, nitrates are pretty much always at zero so this is probably the root cause.

Lowered photoperiod and light intensity, maintaining consistent co2 and trying a more consistent fert routine with new fert. Let’s see how it goes!

Is the first pic male?

Is the first pic a male? I think it’s a male but I’ve never had one so red. If he is a male I’m taking out the clear guy in second pic.

Hoping for some advice on this kind of algae

I seem to have 2 kinds of algae, a fuzzy one and a filamentous type. My normal methods of algae control seems to have no effect on them.

This is a 5.5 gal running at about 76f for roughly 9 months. I’ve tried lowering the light time to about 6 hours now and 50% power, I’ve done multiple blackouts, feed the shrimp crushed fish food once a week, and I’ve stopped using fert for about a month now. I have also stopped CO2 injection for about 2 weeks but the algae is just unyielding.

This has been an ongoing battle since January and if anyone has any experience or advice I’d love to hear it.

Also I have bladder snails and a nerite but they wont touch this stuff

I have a pair of Nike blazers (1st pic) with heels worn down all the way to the inside of the shoe just like 2nd and 3rd pics but much worse. I like the way they feel and my only complaint is a lack of grip for example when I’m trying to climb up a big rock on hikes. How logical would it be to try and get soles redone? I’m thinking something like hiking boots.

I know I could probably just get a pair of hiking boots, just curious if I could bring back some life into them.
