Really want something commander length in FDE to add to the collection. Shown: Apache Commander, COS21, P211 GT4

Which would you pick and anything else I should consider in FDE?

Trying to stay at 3.5k max otherwise I would get a Fowler, NightHawk or a RC9C in FDE. That will need to wait. Want something to scratch the itch prior.

I already own a few 2011’s but want something in FDE for range and winter EDC.

Own: Kimber pro comp + ports, Kimber pro minotaur, staccato cs, hd3.6, hd 4.5 w comp, P w chunk port, RC9 5” ported, Alpha Foxtrot 4.25” ported and comped, sig p211 gto, Bul Armory UL Pro, STI Brazos custom 5”.

It came with some cool stuff in the bag: original STI High Performance Parts packaging for the magwell, a Brazos Custom Gunworks Lightning Rod fiber optic front sight package, loose takedown hardware, and an old McQueeney Gun Club card from the New Braunfels TX area, so it seems to have lived its life in central Texas near the factory.

Two questions for the STI experts:

**1.**Does anyone recognize the TC serial prefix? I know CM was common on factory guns, SAS traces to Shirley Skinner, and frames sold to builders got other prefixes. Wondering if TC points to a person, a distributor, or a custom serial.

**2.**Does the configuration ring a bell as a catalog model, maybe an Edge, or Eagle 5.5, or does it read as a gunsmith build on STI parts?

Got my grail this week - 216570, I am a very happy man! This is a celebration gift to myself for a work milestone and a sobriety one. I already own a Tudor BB GMT Opaline Pepsi and I have a Panerai GMT in Ceramic, as well as some beaters like a Sangin Polar Professional and a 2026 Longines Hydro Conquest for diving so the black suited my needs best. Picked up this 4.5 beauty from my LGS for a steal today, very lightly used. Looks like a monsoon Genghis comp was done on it and it came with a red dirt trigger. Had to buy the wife a bag as husband tax but pretty happy with it. Range tomorrow after church to try it out. 😮‍💨
