General candidates as low as 85%ile have got interview calls........apparently 8000 people applied so statistically atleast 1200 general candidates must have been called + the reserved category ones for 70 seats?!!!!

So I will be joining Civil here...plan to do MBA. Does being a civil student hinders iim call or does IIEST not having NIT tag in name hinders brand value of college(as college tag matters in iim calls)

My other options include IIEST Shibpur Civil and BIT mesra Mechanical. If I join Mesra I would have to take an education loan. Would it be worth the ROI?
