Scared of fireworks

This is my boy Copper. He’s 11 years old. There’s people in apartments behind my house who love to shoot fireworks (it’s illegal where I am but they don’t care). This 4th of July, they were extra loud.

He is terrified of fireworks. And has been traumatized ever since. The first picture is him normally. The second is what he looked like after the fireworks. I feel like his eyes/face look different. He is constantly scared. He refuses to go outside to go potty so he’s gone in the house. Because of the stress, he’s chewing up the door and doorframes.

We don’t know what to do with him we can’t leave him alone. We feel like this is not a good quality life for him. My family has thought about putting him down but we really don’t want to. Other than this he’s in good health and we were still expecting a few more years with him.

If any has any ideas as to what we can do to try and calm him down. Or if euthanasia is the best option. We’ve tried calming supplements but they didn’t nothing. PLEASE HELP!!

HELP I got some harlequin rasboras a few days ago and one of them is not moving

It was stuck to the filter when I first noticed and thought it was dead. I noticed it was still breathing. I moved it and now it’s sitting upside down at the bottom of the tank. I checked water parameters and they’re good. Is there anything I can do to try to save it?

Why is my platy so big??

The second pick has a molly next to it. I’ve had platys before and they’ve all been around 2 inches. This one is 3 1/2 inches. I don’t mind that it’s big. I’m just curious.

What should I do?

I was confused that every time I test my aquarium water, there was ammonia. I decided to test my tap water( the photo) and there’s ammonia in it. More than whats in the aquarium. I researched it and saw that it’s normal for tap water to have ammonia and I just need to dechlorinate it(I used API stress coat). I did and tested again and it was the same.

I don’t have the money to buy bottles of straight aquarium water since I have a 5 and 20 gallon. Please help. If anyone has any ideas as what I can add to the water.

What breed is this handsome boy.

I definitely think he’s a pit but I’m sure there’s something else too.

Small?

Is my leopard gecko small. She looks tiny compared to the ones I see in pet stores. I’ve had her for 4 years. She got metabolic bone disease when she was young. Could that have stunted her growth?

Also yes I know real rocks aren’t good to have in there. They were there when I got her and I removed them

I was told she was a border terrier/aussiedoodle. I got the embark dna test and it seems mostly right but there was no border terrier. None of the breeds have wire hair so I don’t know where she got it from
