Gym microaggression

For reference I am a ciswoman, but it really doesn't matter.

This guy interrupted me in the gym to show me a Facebook post on his phone and asked if it was me, and I said uhh no, and he said "are you sure that's not you?" And I said yep that's not me, and I wasn't really paying that much attention and didn't have my glasses on, and then as I walked away I realized it was a side by side meme of a transgender woman pre and post transition.

And he said, "this is my buddy Terry, he's a cop. That's hilarious," as in it was a shit brained facebook post from his buddy Terry, the cop, and the hilarious thing was the transgender woman and whatever dumbass caption was above the side by side. It probably wasn't even a real picture but brain rot slop.

I should have gone back and interrogated him. Why do you think this person looks like me? This woman has blonde hair. What is it that is hilarious about this to you? Have you always had a small dick and a head shaped like a toe? When did you start balding? How muscular does a woman have to be before you feel insecure about your masculinity and feel the need to pathetically assert your dominance?

But I didn't.

Training to failure vs reps in reserve?

I heard some YouTube guy talking about how most beginners don't really know how many reps they have in reserve, and often stop well before 3 reps in reserve. So should I just try and go to failure, assuming that what think is failure is actually not and is where I should stop for muscle growth?

I feel like I go until the rep starts slowing down and you have to really push, but maybe I should try for one more past that? Thanks in advance!

Best lyrically/rhythmically complex songs?

I don't know how to quite articulate it but looking for songs that have really clever and creative rhymes, both straightforward and slant rhymes, like I Hate Shakespeare from Something Rotten:

His plays are wordy but oh no!
The "great" Shakespeare!
That little turd
He has no sense about the audience he makes them feel so dumb
The bastard doesn't care that my poor ass is getting numb
...
The man really knows how to write a bitchin' play!
You wish you could pen one
We wish we were in one

38 [f4r] #US - let's talk in granular detail about our gainz

I'm so close to my first pull up, ask me how.

BW 126
Squat: 155x3
DL: 155x5
Bench: 80x5

Currently running PHAT 5x week kind of, except my arms are already too beefy so I do glute and core instead of the arm day.

So I'm like basically just obsessed with training and no one cares about it, and you can only humblebrag so much about how sore you are because you work out 7 days a week. Maybe you want to talk about your delts too.

I like other stuff too, like pickleball (play in a league but I am very bad) and Dungeon Crawler Carl (but I have not yet read book 8).

I'm perennially single, and I'm pretty convinced I'm going to be the buffest spinster around. I started getting inspirational reels of elderly women deadlifting. What can you do, ya know? At least if I die alone it won't be because I fell and broke a hip (fingers crossed).

Message me your PRs!!

I just don't know how much of a difference I can tell sometimes. I should've taken better before pictures.

Anyway I took up running starting in August and lost 12 lbs between August to February. Like I said, I dialed in on weight training in March and now do a 5 day Power/Hypertrophy split, plus a couple runs a week and pickleball once a week. I'm about to start taking powerlifting coaching to try and compete as well.
