Should I file a claim?

I recently scraped my pristine car against a pole in a parking lot. I went to a very reasonable body shop I had dealt with in the past for non-insurance claims and received a ballpark estimate of $1500-1800, higher than I anticipated. Insurer is Progressive and we have a clean household claims record for 6 years. Just doing the math, will this be a zero sum game if I file a claim when factoring in potential premium increases over the next several years or just do it myself?

Demo availability in the US?

Last month I contacted a local dealer (PHL metro) and was told that vehicles would be available in September and have also read on this sub about similar timeline to select dealers. I stopped in to the dealership today and was told that nothing would be available until December and the sales rep even seemed somewhat uncertain about that date. I presently have a reservation for a Rivan R2 and was given a potential order date in Nov/Dec and would like to do a test drive on the ix3 before then. Do we know if the September date for demo vehicles in the US still holds and if so is there any way to easily locate the selected dealers?

US Configuration Question

I am trying to avoid the M Sport package as it just enhances what was previously only a mildly objectionable face. However, it adds driving assistance plus and I see no other way to add this a la carte. If I purchase Driving Assistance Pro, will this include everything in the Plus package?

The cost of a trailer hitch is prohibitive

I'm waffling between a Rivian R2, iX3 and the EX60 but have yet to only drive the R2. The vehicle was nice but very utilitarian and the off road capability and ground clearance came at the expense of a slight climb into the cabin for my 62" spouse. I use a trailer hitch to haul bicycles and the launch edition price made it very atrractive with tow hitch included. Even when ordering ala carte, the cost was $950 USD and with BMW only $795USD. The EX60 seemed to be more refined than the Rivian and preferable until I started to configure and added a $2K hitch. I am hopeful I can get an answer to whether an aftermarket hitch can be installed by the time I expect to order in November.

I've also looked at the roof mount option but have a 30 lb bike and bad shoulder.

Globe card billing question

I was just provided a Citi Globe card transitioning from Barclay's Aviator. I was billed for the annual fee from Barclay's on 6/30 but have no intention of renewing the Globe card as I also have an Executive card primarily for the unlimited Admirals Club benefit. I am interested in utilizing the Global entry reimbursement benefit prior to the renewal date posting. If I pay the fee tomorrow for Global Entry will I still be entitled to the credit if I cancel the card.

Help me with planning a meal for a 1 night stopover

We are flying into Heathrow tomorrow afternoon (ETA 16:30) and have a room booked at the Crown Plaza T4. We have a departure to US the following AM at 9:15. I realize that our flight needs to be on time and swift exit through passport control for this to work. Looking to hop on the train I see Picadilly line is close) at Heathrow and head to a neighborhood where there are a lot of dining options, preferably Indian. Thanks for your help.

Easyjet from Lisbon Airport

I am flying from Lisbon to Marrakech tomorrow on Easyjet with US passport. I would have avoided Easyjet if I had known about Lisbon departure delays beforehand. For my 12:30 flight, Easyjet bag drop does not open until 10AM but it seems that this may not be enough time for the passport control queue. Has anyone else managed this?
