On of the best purchases I've made.
I'm on a mobile job today and it is hot as balls out here. I bought this fan a couple years back and glad I did because it's saving my bacon out here.

Both are 6013 5/64. Bought the blue demon a few months back, same with the Powerweld. Both stored in same conditions. Running off Yeswelder ARC205 Pro at 80A (Based on the readout, actual output is 15-20A lower)

Can you guess which rod made which weld?
I'll reveal the answer in the morning.
Need to put a hole in the side of the cowling with a removable seal to run the line in/out
1986 Yamaha 4HP 2 stroke. Picked it up off marketplace for $750, great condition, runs.
Going to a service on it in coming days to get her water ready. Need a new impeller because it's not pissing like it should be.
Seen a lot of kids on the dirt bike style E bikes. I'm not complaining about that, they're kids, these bikes are the closest thing some of them are getting compared to an actual car. It's freedom and it lets them get around. I get it, I' not knocking it at all. HOWEVER some of these bikes dont have any lights and at night some of them ride around, nothing reflective on, no lights on the bikes or reflectors. Middle of the night a kid was going down Kerr, no lights on, dark clothes, dark street. Like he's asking to be hit by a car.
IF you have a bike like this or a kid with a bike like this, PLEASE get them some lights or reflectors or reflective clothing or something so if they go out at night, people can actually see them
Hey all! I'm a welder based out of oakville. I'm mobile but I also have some shop space so depending on the project, I can do it here or there.
I specialize in repairs and small fabrication jobs (No I will not weld your exhaust)
I'm $100/hr - 1 hour minimum
[FOR HIRE TAG AND I CAN'T SELF PROMOTE?]
Dorval crossing, next to the timmies. That lot used to stay near empty all the time except for the tuesday night car shows in summer. Now its full of cars all the time like its a storage lot or something. I understand it IS a parking lot but I've never seen it this full of cars before. Can't be where customers are parking because there's literally the rest of the plaza to park in, closer to the stores.
Not a big thing, just that I noticed a lot of cars in a space that never used to have any.
So, I've started out on my own side business. I weld in a shop during the day but after hours and weekends, I have a little hobby shop/work space and my welding rig trailer outfitted with prettymuch everything I need for all kinds of jobs.
On my own, I try to use stick or gasless flux core as often as I can. It's convenience, cheap and easier to set up. Obviously certain applications require MIG or TIG or Al spoolgun but by and large, I try to stay gasless unless I absolutely have to.
I guess this isnt a question, seems like more of a statement at this but whatever. Any of you independant welders who weld mainly with gas or do you just try and run gasless too?
EDIT: Clarification
I posted some pics yesterday but I fonally got the video to work so here it is, videos of the Yeswelder CUT65 and the ARC205
CUT65 & ARC205 https://imgur.com/gallery/dTllwWb (I hope the link works)
Were were cutting some ends off scrap flatbar, to weld together for a welding table.
Both machines can run just fine off a generator. No issues whatsoever.
I would post videos but I cant seem to post them here so whatever. Here's a few SS from today. Cutting off some points and putting pieces together for a welding table that really doesnt matter in the slightest if it's perfect. No material prep so feel free to give me shit but it doesn't matter at all. Corners were rounded so whatever, theres a groove. Will backgrind anyway.
Cut65 is clean, the cuts are good, runs like a champ.
ARC205 has been my main workhorse for my mobile stuff and also runs like a champ. Not all my welds, took videos of my helper/student while he was doing this but came out well (I realize it's only a few weld I' showing here, I'm pulling out his best work)
Any questions for those looking at Yeswelder stuff, go ahwad and ask, my entire arsenal is yeswelder and I've been loving it.
1/8 6013. The readout is not accurate in the slightest, more by feel and 145 on the display seems to be the sweet spot. Actual power output is likely down 15-20A but thats all feeling it out. Despite this, I love using this setup.
Communist Canada packaging but lical rez had these in stock. Got them from a sampler on a US order
