The Cost of Threats

Every threat to leave... Every threat to end the relationship... Every conversation filled with fear instead of understanding...

That's not love.

Threats never make someone love you more. They only teach them to stay silent.

At first, they compromise. Then they stop expressing themselves. Then they start hiding their feelings. And one day... Their heart quietly checks out.

Love doesn't disappear overnight. It dies a little with every threat.

Where fear replaces trust, Respect slowly fades. Communication breaks. And love begins to suffocate.

In the end, only two things remain- Silence... And resentment.

Remember, You can never lead a relationship or a person through threats.

Threats don't fix anything. They don't strengthen love. They don't create loyalty.

They slowly consume everything that once made the relationship beautiful... Until there's nothing left to save.

Batane Se Kya Fayda?

Jo kabii dard samjhe hi nhi,

Use batane se kya fayda?

Dil ko dukhane se kya fayda?

Jise kabhi ehsas hi na ho,

Use haal e dil sunane se kya fayda?

Dil jalaane se kya fayda?

Jo rishta itna khokhla ho,

Jo aapke zakhm dekh kar andekha kar de..

Aansu dekh kar muh mod le,

Aise rishte ko nibhane se kya fayda?

Zakhm par namak lagane se kya fayda?

Dil jalane se kya fayda???

You're Not from Mumbai, You're from Thane" Anyone Else Hear This?

Hello Thanekars,

Hope you're all doing well! 😊

I have a question for you.

Have you ever been told, in a mocking or degrading way, "You're not from Mumbai, you're from Thane," as if being from Thane somehow makes you less worthy of saying you're from the Mumbai region?

I've faced this quite a few times over the years and very recently as well. The tone is usually something like: "Why are you trying to be part of Mumbai? You're from Thane."

Honestly, it can be a bit annoying and sometimes I'm not even sure how to respond.

For those of you who've experienced this:

- How do you take such comments?

- Do they bother you?

- What do you usually say in response?

- Any witty or solid comebacks?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Looking forward to your replies!

Thanks in advance. 😊

And before anyone starts, yes, I know Thane isn't Mumbai. That's not the point of the question. 😄

A Prayer for Strength

May God give us the strength to never lose ourselves in a world filled with arrogance, injustice and wrongdoings.

May we always remember our worth, stand firm in our values and remain strong even when surrounded by storms created by those who choose the wrong path.

And may God grant wisdom to those who have forgotten the difference between right and wrong, so they may find their way back to truth and humanity.

Aakhir Kyun?

Na jaane kya galti thi meri,

Na jaane kaunsi khata hui,

Aansu bhi mere hi bahe,

Aur saza bhi mujhe hi mili.

Sochti hoon aksar tanha baithkar,

Yeh kaisi nainsaafi mere saath hui,

Jis dil ne kabhi kisi ka bura na chaha,

Aakhir usi dil ko itni chot kyun mili.

Not Every Praise Is the Truth

Sometimes, the praise you hear isn't the truth about a person.

It's just the love someone carries for them, spilling out as compliments.

Love has a way of making flaws look invisible and ordinary people look extraordinary.

So when someone is praised too much, don't always assume they're that good.

Sometimes, you're hearing love talk not the truth.

Being Quiet Never Stopped Anything... It Only Made It Normal

When you’re not wrong, yet you’re still asked to stay quiet.

When people hurt you, disrespect you, or cross every limit, you’re told to “ignore it,” “avoid it,” “be mature.”

People expect you to bend.

Even the closest ones.

At first, you try to understand them. You stay calm, stay silent, adjust for the sake of peace.

But slowly, that understanding turns into expectation.

Then into habit.

And before you realize it, they expect you to bend at every step of your life.

“Speak less.”

“Speak softly.”

“Don’t react.”

“If someone destroys your self respect, just let it go.”

And the strangest part?

The same people who ask you to tolerate everything will never let you walk away from it.

When something unbearable finally happens, they’ll cry for you, stand beside you for a moment, maybe even shed a tear or two.

But when their own loved ones hurt you, disrespect you, or break you repeatedly, they still expect you to smile, stay obedient, and keep adjusting.

And it’s not like you never tried.

You did.

You ignored the negativity.

The bad behavior.

The insults, the emotional abuse, the constant disrespect.

You tolerated more than you should have, for the sake of relationships and people you cared about.

But silence never reduced it.

It only increased.

The more you tolerated, the more acceptable your pain became to them.

Yet the same near and dear ones keep giving the same advice again and again:

“Stay quiet.”

“Adjust.”

“Ignore it.”

“Don’t make it a big deal.”

And when things become unbearable once more, they’ll repeat the same cycle, comfort you for a moment, then send you back into the same fire with the same advice.

So what are you supposed to do with such people?

And what are you supposed to do with advice that keeps protecting everyone except you?

Ek shaam thi

Masroof si

Tabhi achanak kuch aahat huyi

Mud ke dekha to koi khada tha

Kaale libaaz me wo saja tha

Mudte hi jab usase nazre mili

Uski bhi nazre thi mujhse judi

Kuch der baad ehsaas hua

Ho gyi thi kaafi der badi

Nazre churayi maine tab

Par uski aankhe mujhe dekhti rhi

Fir hua kuch aisa ki aa baitha wo mere paas

Kaam tha bahana par wo tha khas

Kuch mehsus kiya

Usne bhi, maine bhi

Ar bina kuch kahe bina kuch sune

Jud gye dil ke taar tabhi

Chalne laga ye silsila ab roz

Baate bhi huyi kuch thodi bahot

Ishaaro me fir dil ki baate bhi huyi

Fir kabhi aankho ke alawa, hatheli bhi chuyi

Fir dhire dhire ikraar hua

Pyaar ka izhaar bhi hua

Pyaar ke charche bhi hue, aur gile-shikve bhi hue

Rishta mazboot bhi hua

Ar dhire dhire kamzor bhi

Kayi baar toota, to aise ki fir kabhi jud na sake

Ar jab juda, to aise ki koi tod na sake

Ar fir aisa bhi waqt aaya ki usne ehsaas dilaya

Tha wo sabkuch ek sapna sa

Wo baate

Wo mulakate

Wo uska chhuna

Wo uska saath hona

Wo uska mera ho jaana

Ar apna mujhe kar jaana

Wo fikar

Wo sabar

Wo sab kuch jo khas tha

Bas wo ek aabhas tha

Ye ehsaas e mohabbat ke baad ehsaas e bewafai kitni dardnak hoti hai

Kabhi dekha hai kya?

Nhi dekha to meri aankho me dekho

Jaha aansu sukh gye hai

Hoth muskurane ka natak jaan gye hai

Dimaag ab bina soche bahane de deta hai

Ki sab kuch thik hai

Wo to bas ek sapna sa tha... Ab bas jo hai yahi hai....
