Help on the last secret I'm missing

Help on the last secret I'm missing

I've roughly translated the text to

The (softest faith)?

Collected eleven times

Departed once more.

I don't think it's entirely accurate, last two words of the fist line I mostly guessed because I didn't know any word that fitted the sound (English isn't my first language so maybe I just don't know it. Also, I didn't use any tool to translate, I did it with my notes, so I might have the wrong sound for some characters)

However I'm still pretty confident in that it says to do something 11 times and then do it again.

Does it mean the secret is only available in NG+12? Something about collecting the letter 12 times and "departing" your save? If so I don't think I'll get it, it would be a bit too time consuming for me

The shit this game makes you do 😂

I went into this game mostly blind, I knew there were some mysteries but nothing much.

Didn't expect to end up translating a new writing system.

I haven't finished everything yet, I'm missing the cover page, I am still missing one last secret (the one linked to page 51 and 1) and haven't yet figured out the golden path ending.

Still, this game is already in my pantheon of gaming, if only because it managed the unlikely feat of having me do homework.

10/10

(Ps, don't fret over the vowel sounds being weird in my dictionary, I'm french so the letters I used for the memo probably don't make much sense if you're a native English speaker)

[SPOILERS] Do you think Atlus will have the balls to put *this* romance option in the game?

I'm talking about best girl Yosuke. Honestly, I don't think P4G really needed a remake, but if I had to change 1 thing in the game it would be that.

I'm not kidding that if they do, I would buy the game for this reason alone if nothing else.

How is fusion spell damage calculated?

I'm in endgame and wanted to experiment with damaging fusion spell to see if I could use them in a strat against the secret bosses, but I realised that the damage calculation might be different than I thought. At first I thought that just as in reload, the skills and stats of your currently equipped persona would apply to the attack.

However, when I tried using Ahdrani (I think that's how it's called) with my fire build Messiah equipped, it did less than half of Ragnarok, despite the wiki saying it has sky high base damage. I then tried using it with Shiva equipped, one of the persona depicted in the spell animation, and despite him having fire amp the damage was still disappointing.

Trouble obtaining vision bosses' secret rewards

On the wiki there is a list of condition to respect on each boss to get the 10 fusion spells. For some of them, like hanged or priestess, I've had no problem, but some like empress/emperror I'm having trouble. I've tried

  • Scanning both and killing them after their weakness got revealed
  • Killing Empress first without scan and then scanning emperror before defeating him
  • Letting them both use paradigm shift and scan them again to defeat them the following turn
  • Not scanning either
  • Using the Strategy menus to scan them instead of L

I'm out of ideas on how to get this fucking card.

I'm on NG btw, I know you cannot get these rewards on NG+ but this is not my case.

Also, I know only Infinity and armagedon are required, but I'm a completionist so I'd really like to get all of them if possible

Do "Fear Boost" and "Ailment Boost" Stack?

This is my second playthrough of the game and I was wondering on a nice way to build Thanatos. I settled on a Pierce/Fear build with

Ghastly Veil

Pralaya

Fear Boost

Ailment Boost

Arms Master

Apt Pupil

Null Light

Null Pierce

I know Shiva can do the same but better and is arguably easier to build, and I know that this build sucks against secret boss, but this is mainly for flavor since Thanatos is my favorite demon in this game.

I've mostly got it done except for Ailment Boost but I don't want to struggle and get the skill card if it will not matter anyway

Do toilets not work in maniac difficulty?

I've already played through the game as Makoto in normal, and have now just started a ng as FEMC in maniac.

I'm in may and wanted to go to Tartarus, so I've tried using the toilets again and again to get the great condition, but it only gave me advices on how I should increase social stats. Can you not get this condition this way in maniac?

SPOILER CH5 - Question regarding an armor

In the GoldWidow descritpion, it says that you gain 10% less money. The description of the new DogWidow is that you lose most money at the end of the fight. However, the effect of this armor in the inventory looks exactly the same as that of the GoldWidow ('-90% $' for dog and '-10% $' for Gold)

So is the DogWidow description misleading and it means you lose 90% of the money you would have earned, just like the GoldWidow, or do you actually lose your current money?

With the hype of the anime I recently started reading the manga. I'm only around ch 20 so far but I love it, this is one of the most beautiful mangas I've ever read. With that said, there's one thing that bugs me so far.

Ruler and compass are the most basic geometry tools that have been invented indepedently in most civilisations around the worlds, ancient mathematicians even considered them the only way to construct geometrical perfection.

In a world where magic is tied to drawing, I would expect some chaaracters to have a more mathematical aproach about it, yet so far I've not seen anyone use those tools. It wouldn't even be that hard to incorporate in the standard magician set, heck a strand of hair could even do the job as a compass in desperate situations.

Of course it wouldn't be very useful for descreet spells that have to be drawn freehandedly, but for more complex spells prepared in advance it would help reach a higher accuracy.

Is this something that is adressed later in the story or just a quirk of the world that not everyone use those tools?
