We were taking a big community screenshot today and I may have accidentally on purpose deleted the ground underneath everyone.

Whole group straight into the void.

Luckily LoungeSMP has Keep Inventory, so nobody lost anything and somehow everyone was still laughing after.

bunch of us ended up hanging out at the new shopping district today, /pwarp Togala'au. Players have already started filling it with shops, builds, and places to meet up, and it is quickly becoming one of the busiest spots on the server.

That is probably my favourite part of LoungeSMP. There are always people talking, helping new players, building towns, opening shops, joining events, or finding something random to do together.

We are also getting ready to expand the world border, which means a lot of fresh land will soon be available for new bases, towns, farms, and projects. Whether you enjoy building, grinding the economy, running a shop, joining events, or just chilling with other players, there is always something happening.

We took another community photo today and it was really nice seeing so many new faces together.

All of the events we run are always great, but my favourite part of running LoungeSMP is still logging on every day, talking with everyone, seeing what people are building, and watching new players become part of the community.

I’m genuinely lucky to be part of such a friendly group of people. Everyone is welcoming, helps new players, joins events, hangs out in chat, and makes the server feel like more than just another Minecraft world.

One of my favourite things about LoungeSMP is just flying around and seeing how much the world has changed.

What started as empty land now has towns, shops, farms, roads, huge bases, small cozy builds, and random little projects everywhere. Every area feels different because it was made by a different player with their own style.

The server still has plenty of untouched land, but the places people have settled are starting to feel like an actual world with history behind it. It is really cool seeing older builds beside new ones and watching the community slowly connect everything together.

We got some people together for a new community screenshot today. It was nice hanging out and seeing how far LoungeSMP has come.

The best part of the server is the community. People welcome new players, help each other out, chat, build together, and are generally just chill and down to earth. That is exactly the kind of public Minecraft SMP we have always wanted LoungeSMP to be.

We have plenty of fun planned this weekend, and we might even run another talent show this Sunday. Behind the scenes, we are also working on an automated speed-build event, a major economy update, and more ways to keep the server fresh.

We hosted a talent show on LoungeSMP expecting some singing, a few magic tricks, and maybe one or two questionable performances.

What we did not expect was a brand-new player named TNT_Cam joining the server and delivering a completely uninterrupted 40-minute reading of the entire Bee Movie script.

No breaks. No hesitation. Just pure commitment.

The whole server gathered around and listened as our ears were blessed by what may genuinely be the greatest performance in Minecraft history.

Naturally, a performance of this level could not go unrewarded. TNT_Cam walked away with hundreds of thousands of in-game dollars, a free Member rank, and a free Elytra.

Safe to say, the whole server was absolutely buzzing after that performance.

Most server ads promise an active community, but you join and the chat is empty, updates are rare, and the owner is nowhere to be found. LoungeSMP is different. We usually have around 20 players online daily, events every week, and an owner who is on every day fixing issues, listening to suggestions, and building what the community actually wants.

It is classic survival at its core, with more reasons to keep playing. Build a town, open a shop, grind through 600 job levels, take part in custom events, trade through the player economy, or just hang out with people in chat. LoungeSMP just updated to the latest Minecraft version, so it felt like a good time to introduce the server again.

We're building a semi-vanilla SMP that keeps Minecraft feeling like Minecraft while adding enough content to make it worth sticking around long-term. It's available on both Java and Bedrock.
